..... LOL .... they are responding because they have clueless perception that the layoffs are a result of political posturing against Obamacare .....

..... they still don't have a clue that it just might be a necessary financial move for survival because of the financial stress as a result of the Blessed and Holy Obamacare sent to us from the One they worship.

.... After all .... something so genuinely wonderful could never cause any negative effects or problems for anyone .... could it?

WHO DEY?????????????????????
I can honestly say I have heard of none of them.

I have to fall back on that great philosopher/humanitarian/elephant dung picker upper, Joe Don Looney’s ‘words of wisdom’.

IF THE SUPER BOWL IS SO IMPORTANT WHY HAVE IT EVERY YEAR?

HOW CAN SOMETHING BE CALLED THE GREATEST EVENT OF ALL TIME WHEN 500 BILLION CHINAMEN HAVE NEVER HEARD OF IT?

Dan Savage, Nathan Fillion and Sarah Silverman

huh? It's amazing what qualifies for a celebrity these days.

See Nathan doesn’t have to worry no more.
Now he’s “CASTLE”......Whatever that is....
Just like David Caruso, Shelly Long and that sidekick from Conan he believes he has a huge future just from his looks and brilliant acting career.

Good Luck with that Nathan......

sad to see you go....

I’ve honestly never heard of Filion or Savage before. I have heard of Sarah Silverman before, unfortunately. She is easily one of the least funny people on this planet.

A real shame to see one of my favorite actors (Fillion) exposing his ignorance like that. For those who care, on “Castle” he plays the title character, a “famous” mystery writer who occasionally plays poker (or did early in the series) with well-known screenwriters. In-show, he’s rich enough to buy a New York restaurant on a whim, and lives in a downright huge apartment in the city. The show is ok, not great, and is *really* formulaic, but he is a good actor, so it is still enjoyable.

Where they get their ‘news’....

The Center for American Progress is a progressive public policy research and advocacy organization. Its website states that the organization is “dedicated to improving the lives of Americans through progressive ideas and action.”. The Center presents a liberal viewpoint on economic issues. It has its headquarters in Washington D.C

Its President and Chief Executive Officer is Neera Tanden, who worked for the Obama and Clinton administrations and for Hillary Clinton’s campaigns.

Its first President and Chief Executive Officer was John Podesta, who served as chief of staff to then U.S. President Bill Clinton. Podesta remains with the organization as Chairman of the Board. Located in Washington, D.C., the Center for American Progress has a campus outreach group,

Campus Progress, and a sister advocacy organization, the Center for American Progress Action Fund. Citing Podesta’s influence in the formation of the Obama Administration, a November 2008 article in Time (Jay Carney) stated that “not since the Heritage Foundation helped guide Ronald Reagan’s transition in 1981 has a single outside group held so much sway.”

It’s not just Wendy’s - all fast food restaurants are letting full timers go as well. My daughter runs 5 McDonalds and her heart grieves for the people she has to let go or cut back - but these are the times obummer gave us.

Does anyone know the impact of Obamacare on seasonal contract labor? Is health insurance not required as long as weekly hours are kept below 29?

This is a 3-4 month a year operation when contract laborers will work up to 29 hours/week. The rest of the year, hours will be less per week and only a day or two per week.

As an aside, how to make a homemade Wendy’s Frosty.

Wendy’s Frosty

Freeze the ice cream maker bowl for 24 to 48 hours.
Put plastic wrap on the bowl to prevent ice crystals
from forming.

1 quart rich, thick chocolate milk
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

In a medium bowl, whisk together chocolate milk and
sweetened condensed milk until combined. Pour into
canister of 1-1/2 quart ice cream maker and freeze
according to your ice cream maker’s directions.

Turn your ice cream maker on before pouring. This
helps to prevent the liquid from sticking to the
sides right away. Pull off the plastic wrap from your
ice cream maker bowl, and pour the mixture into the
bowl as it is turning. Blend for about 25 minutes for
a thick consistency. Serve in cups (with spoons).

With a blender

In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate milk and
sweetened condensed milk. Mix the ingredients using a
large blender. Once thoroughly combined, put the mixture
into a freezer safe container and freeze for 2 or more
hours, making sure you stir thoroughly every half hour
until desired thickness is reached.
