Yep a lot of Dems own guns. Harry Reid is not going to bring this POS bill to floor for a vote. IMO. Although I would love for him to do it and have it voted down.

Illinois Senate was supposed to vote on gun grabbing and homosexual marriage but they adjourned without doing anything. Hope they stay adjourned indefinitely.

I think they have already started by proxy of social engineering. The shooting stage may or may not come later.

I doubt it. While doing searches for technical info on firearms, I've seen several hits to DU threads containing arguments mostly against gun control and positive comments about AR-15s and the like. Same with hearing from Democrat acquaintances in person. They're all against gun control in my area, and most, I suspect, around the country. The real money behind gun control is coming from Murdoch, Gates, Turner and others like them--not most Democrat voters.

I guess I know what my husband and I will be doing tomorrow. ;o) We already have our MA Fire arms licenses, we’ve just never gotten around to getting guns.

It has always been about handguns. Assault rifles was just a decoy to try and get their anti-gun foot in the door.

Once they get a ban on AWs then they will use the same reasons to go after handguns.

John Kennedy killed with a 5 shot bolt action rifle.

Bobby Kennedy with a .22 Iver Johnson Cadet revolver.

George Wallace wounded with a 5 shot Charter Arms .38spl.

Gerald Ford attacked with a 7 shot 1911 semi auto.

Edmond OK post office with two National Guard 7 shot 1911 pistols.

Ronald Reagan and Jim Brady with an RG-14 .22 revolver.

What do they all have in common? NONE over 7 rounds, yet after each one came a cry of panic to ban them.

Most of the dead in mass shootings comes from the first 10 rounds in a magazine. When the last 10 rounds are fired people are not standing around trying to find out where the noise is coming from.

If Obama steals legal guns from citizens, he’ll be setting the stage for the next Al Capone. But worse. An Al Copone for our time will be more violent with cash generated by a billion dollar organized crime gun industry.

Liberals have taken a country that’s broke, hates Traditional Americans and they’ve make it worse. What’s the next surprise going to be?

Good luck finding what you really want at the store, things are getting pretty picked over. Might have to shop a bit, or in your case have it shipped in from out of MA via a gun dealer.

I ordered a new reloading press, powder/bullet scale and 3 sets of reloading dies (& extras) yesterday. The que at a very reputable shooters supply was 20 minutes and there were 45 people ahead of me in the que. The staff was amazing, it took 1 minute to take my order (chose not to place it on-line so the inventory could be allocated and not sold).

I am still looking for a source of brass for an old model 71 Win. .348 (for the big game, like hogs)
