MSNBC's Ed Schultz Names Sandra Fluke A 'Hero' For Pushing Free Birth Control

MSNBC's Ed Schultz named Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown coed who told a congressional panel that students were going broke buying contraception, a "middle class hero" for advocating free contraception, Twitchy reported Wednesday.

"Even more hilarious," Twitchy said, "Fluke is boasting about it and preening."

"Thx 4 including me in 2012 heroes & allowing me 2 share my friend's story--interview feels like lifetime ago," Fluke tweeted.

According to Twitchy, conservatives on Twitter weren't impressed.

"@SandraFluke hero? What a joke! Embarrassment is more like it," one person tweeted.

"@SandraFluke what have you sacrificed to be labelled a hero? You're an underachieving grad student who refuses to pay for her own BC (sic)," added another.

"Dear God! I'm afraid this @SandraFluke chick actually believes she's a freaking hero. She needs anti-psychotics not birth control," said "Kimberly C."

In early 2012, Fluke was the center of a storm of controversy when she told congressional Democrats that some of her fellow students were so sexually active they were going broke buying contraception.

"Without insurance coverage, contraception, as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school,” she said.

"For a lot of students, like me, who are on public interest scholarships, that’s practically an entire summer’s salary," she whined.

Talk show host Rush Limbaugh responded by calling Fluke a "slut." Although he apologized, the Democrat-media complex used the episode to tar Limbaugh while manufacturing a fake GOP "war on women."

Fluke also spoke at the Democratic National Convention, and drew a "crowd" of ten people when she appeared at a Nevada grocery store.

Twitchy said that one Twitter user posted a "frightening thought."

"If @SandraFluke is a national hero, we are freakin doomed," tweeted "Radioman."

This guy is such a blowhard. Do even the liberals take him seriously? I know he has his little tv show on MSNBC but I bet you all a quarter that even 95 percent of DemoQuacks have never even heard his name.

Kinda puts those people risking their lives to help others around the globe in perspective now doesn’t it?

Free scotch?

Now that’s a program I can support. Throw in a few cigars, and I just may vote for you.

Sandra Fluke was in the running for Time Magazine’s PERSON OF THE YEAR, but she refused to buy a subscription.

Who paid for her vacation in Europe that she was too poor to afford since obviously she couldn’t afford birth control and her boyfriend was too cheap to use a condom or get he nads cut.

Oh wait, she targeted a Catholic school who’s policy she disagreed with after graduating with as a California degreed Feminazi.

I no longer drink, but if that is the quality of beverage you are championing I will place your nomination.

I caught that guy’s show once- and it he was talking about Romney’s son.. and I was astounding at how bat shit crazy that guy is. No responsible adult would allow that man to have a forum to speak.

He has got to be a crack head.

I am pretty sure ED has a very low heroism threshold.

I understand Sandra Fluke’s position. No guy with standards would pay the price of a condom for a fifteen minute encounter with her (if they could stand even that much time with a diseased and worn out floozie), and it must be depressing to know that guys don’t think she’s worth $0.25 - perhaps not even ten cents if she buys in bulk and wants them to pay for the condoms they use. She’s probably bitter and wants to make the guys she hasn’t met as miserable as the guys who spend time with her but won’t even give her a dime to cover her expenses, an average of thirty guys a day to go through $3k in condoms during law school.

No woman, of any redeeming quality, would accept being exalted by that guy.

I am not sure who is worse. Her or him. He has got to be schizophrenic.

Ed’s head looks like a block of concrete with hair and the words that come out his mouth prove that’s exactly what he is. IDIOT
