Okay. - I’ve considered the possibility that I may be praying for God’s correction on this nation when I pray “thy will be done”; but I do believe His will is best. Of course, I’d like for repentance and correction to be “easy does it”; and hope it will be.

I’m in. But full disclosure here: I’m going through something. Not a crisis of faith, because I know the Lord is in His heaven and in control of everything as well as I know my own name. But for the past couple of months, when I pray, I don’t feel Him “there.” And I believe it’s because of the hate in my heart for Obama and for the people who voted for him.
I was talking about this with my inlaws at Christmas. My mother-in-law said, “You don’t hate the person Obama; you mean you hate his policies.” I replied, “No, I hate HIM, and all of the people who put him in office.” Why lie? God knows what’s in my heart. I’m powerless to do anything about it...all I can do is ask Jesus in His mercy to take it from me.
So while I work through this, my prayers might not be the most effective, LOL, but count me in for 9 p.m. eastern.

I had to quit watching news after the election and we mute him and change the channel every time he comes on the screen. I’m not going to get back into the habit of watching the news. I find it best to read what I want right here on FR. Please know I will pray for you. I completely understand your situation. Thank you for praying with us each night. I know it will help and also help you. Abundant blessings!

Meanwhile, turning off the news is a good idea. I have little use for Fox anymore.

I promise to pray for you, and absolutely shut off the news. It’s both maddening and depressing. Fox is awful. I can’t stand the talking head pundits. I never got engaged in the fiscal cliff fiasco and talk, and knew precisely how it would end. The GOP are entirely predicable. I find solace in prayer, old time movies, like “Going My Way” and books and of course my family and my good friends here.
I generally agree with this sentiment, but I believe that Democrat politicians have become the enablers of this cultural collapse by happily creating and feeding more and more parasites at the expense of people who try to do the right thing for themselves and their families.

It was inevitable that the parasites would eventually outnumber the hosts, and naturally, a political party that would, in exchange for votes, act as the agents of confiscation and redistribution for the parasites.
America is dead. Congratulations to the Democrats. They won.
Of course I pray for our Country. But it seems that many are talking about ‘we were defeated’!
We were NOT defeated. We were fraudlently minoritized! It has been proven that the machines were rigged, many voted in several precincts, and dead people, felons, MANY illegals, and even alzheimer’s patients votes were cast! (At least FOUR counties in PA had machines so rigged that not ONE vote was cast for Romney!)
I PRAY that SOMEONE - SOMEWHERE - SOMEHOW has the cajones to confront this issue of FRAUD, and FIGHT IT, with the support of ALL of us!
Why is this being ignored? Are BOTH parties in on it?
