Very few Notre Dame fans, who are legion, are wearing such shirts. But, I live in the South, and I have seen quite a few very trashy Alabama shirts trash-talking ND. There is no monopoly on bad taste. Most Notre Dame fans have quite a lot of class. They don’t claim bogus national titles . . . of Alabama’s 14, maybe 6 are legitimate, and they even claim ‘73, which would be a laugh if it weren’t so insulting and such a demonstration of lack of “class.” And they certainly don’t walk around wearing rolls of toilet paper and boxes of Tide on their heads like a bunch of fools.
