Webster, N.Y. -- 13WHAM News has learned several people have been shot at the scene of a fire on Lake Road in Webster.
The fire is at 191 Lake Road near Bay Road. A source tells 13WHAM News that at that scene, an unknown gunman opened fire on fire crews on the scene.
The victims have been taken by Mercy Flight to area hospitals. The fire has now spread to a second house.
13WHAM has several crews converging on the scene and will provide updates at they're available.
Or has decided the home is worth less than the insurance.

Subsequently, NRA staff conducted similar tests and surrounded the fire with cardboard. They found that neither the cases nor the bullets that flew any distance had enough energy to penetrate the cardboard.
I think you are on to something there Kart. I read in the paper and hear on the radio about those rampaging SUV’s killing someone. I think they need to be registered and have governors put on the engines so they can’t go more than 5 MPH.

Meanwhile, nary a word about the evil of the killer, their medical conditions and the gas-on-fire drugs they take that lowers their inhibitions and increases their delusions.
Isn't this why we now have domestic drones? A Hellfire distributes a whole lot of "peace and good-will" in the immediate aftermath of its deployment.

Consider how history may have been changed should the Jews of Germany and Europe in the 1930’s refused to give up their firearms, and vowed to “take care of” those sent to do the dirty work of bureaucrats.
If those who own firearms, reach a position where it is necessary to hide them, to keep them safe, then the owner is not safe and the action will indicate all is lost.
Difficult as it may be, the decision to protect firearms from illegal and unconstitutional confiscation must be a part of firearms training. It must be part of you, it cannot rationally be made as those arrive at your door to take your firearms from you.
It must also be widely known by any and all that any efforts by anyone in government do be involved in any confiscation scheme, will be met by deadly force. So spread the word it ain’t a secret. If you are looking for a ticket to oblivion, willingly give up your guns to anyone other than the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

I heard 2 dead, 2 wounded and gunman killed himself. I’m in Buffalo. Fires have been burning for 3 hours because of this senseless shooting?
FWIW, this tactic was used more than once during the riots of the late 60s.
Start a fire, call the FD and then attack the firefighters when they arrived. Intended to terrorize and stoke mass hysteria, it wasn’t that successful back then but, of course, the populace wasn’t MEGA dumbed down then either.

That house is the residence of a convicted killer. This address was all over the news 30 some odd years ago when this guy killed his grandmother who lived next door (All from memory so details may be off) He served something like 15 or 20 years before he was released back to his house.
Hell, google the address and you can even have the guys name.

As an aside but a very important point: as a convicted felon the shooter (if he is who I suspect he is) wasn’t able to legally possess a gun in the first place.
I believe that there has not been any change in the violent crime / shooting rate in the US recently. What has changed is that the gun-grabbers in Washington and the media smell blood in the water, so they are going to over-hype every negative story involving a gun in order to play on peoples’ emotions and get a gun ban through. Similarly, they will underreport any story involving gun being used for valid self-defense purposes.

I threw a few bullets in a fire when I was a youngin, age 10. Still have a major scar where it tore into my arm at the crook of my elbow. Had to have the fragment removed years later that lodged in.
I had the same glasses as a kid. Broke a few. Once I lost them in the Wisconsin river, or at least that’s what I told my dad. He found out through the small town talk that I got into a fight and they broke and I hid them. So love that movie based on my own experiences.

When I lived in the area 30 years ago, Webster was an upscale suburb populated by Kodak and Xerox people. I don’t know where it has gone as those two companies slid down the porcelain parkway. This is not an inner city hellpit.
Hide them, already. Or better yet, hide lathes, milling machines, metallurgy ovens, reloading presses and dies, get ready to bootleg new, unregistered weapons if it becomes necessary.

William Spengler was just confirmed by Webster PD Chief to be the killer and he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He murdered his grandmother, who lived next door, back in the early 90's. He was a criminally deranged POS and convicted felons are not allowed to own guns in NYS, so he committed this ambush and murders and assaults with illegally obtained guns.
I've spent time down at Sea Breeze, at the amusement park and the burger/hot dog joints as well as at Marge's Lakeside Inn and the Reunion on Culver Rd.
