Use 1st amendment and protect 2nd amendment. Overwhelm it. Tell everyone you know to sign petition.
Deport British Citizen Piers Morgan for Attacking 2nd Amendment.
19,919 signatures needed by January 20. 5,081 signatures made.

Gosh, I dunno . . . I’m not accustomed to being called a “traitor” for taking an originalist tack on the Constitution. These are troubled times, I agree.
The white house probably already knows who i am, but I am not going to help them along.
A loyal British subject gaining a position of influence in this nation and calling for the disarming of American citizens would not have been smiled upon by the Founders. The quaint notion of everyone having the same rights as American citizens, even unto calling for the end of those rights, had no currency at the time. He’d have been run out of the country at a minimum, as happened to so many Tories at the time.
I’m not entirely sure that is true, either, because the Founders expected the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to apply to Tories as well. I’m interested, if you have some citations to the Federalist Papers or other sources, to continue.
I am talking about what actually occurred. Tories were routed out, run off or if they didn’t run they were often killed, property seized and auctioned to pay for the war effort. You read high minded niceties extended to all into the Constitution in the face of the reality that gave birth to it. even the subjects with whom they had just fought a bloody war in order to separate themselves, to them you’d extend every right within a nation they still wanted to subdue, right up to the War Of 1812.
You couldn’t possibly be more wrong. This sort of thing is another reason I’ve always thought you foreign. Your use of the language gets wackier and wackier as you anger, and you just don’t get things than an actual American would get.
Then haul your ass to NW suburban Chicago. I'll give you a damn tour. I'll even let you meet the rest of my conservative friends, who live in this vastly Republican area. I'll even show you what I do for a living.
Otherwise, you can shove it.
Chicago? That explains it.
Well. No foreigners in Lake Forest and Winnetka unless it’s the help I guess, lol.
Only if you do not understand geography, that I will add to the things of which you are ignorant.
Yeah, you support Piers Morgan’s attack on the Constitution and I’m ignorant.
Well, you are not familiar with Illinois, for starters. Should I go on?
So you’re a besieged nativist xenophobe who just doesn’t like brown people now?
Don’t like illegals taking my work, and never did. You can decide the rest.
No need to go on. Leftists like you who call patriots “ignorant” are briefly amusing, but not for long. And I have no desire to become “familiar” with Illinois, thanks.
Been about ten years since I was up there with any frequency.
Is Bob Chinn’s still mobbed or has it slipped?
Whoa, wait a minute . . . did I call someone else “ignorant” on this thread, or just you? Because you’re saying I called a patriot ignorant.
I’ve only been there once, I’m sure it’s still mobbed, and I doubt it’s slipped because the competition nowadays is fierce.
Even as a non-citizen, he has a right to say pretty much any nonsense he wishes over the arirwaves, provided he doesn't directly advopcate killing or violence or the immediate overthrow of the government.
Your point well taken here. Although previously when my liberal spouse (bless her) watched CNN, I lost it. An old atavistic impulse took over my mouth vis: "I like to punch the sod". Not the way to go really. What we are seeing here is the incredible tolerance of subversives like Morgan. Whether it is a great compliment to the rational and measured consideration of either Voltaire, or Tom Paine might be arguable.
For it is said that- "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it". Conservatives can turn this one to their own advantage. I have been subjected to the usual state run media in Canada, The sanctimonious hypocracy of it all. The naysaying about our good neighbours to the south continues.
Terry Jones, the controversial pastor, was not only turned back at the Canadian border, but the officers had him grilled for four hours. No need for that. Turn the man back in fifteen minutes and be done with it, says I. Ann Coulter was to speak at a Toronto University. She was cancelled, or had to cancel, because of the phoney trumped up plans to harass Ann.
I do not offer any opinion about what should be done about Morgan. I would jolly well like to though. I offer to all and sundry, that compared with almost any country in the world, America tolerates the likes of a Morgan. Other countries would not, his feet would not touch. This says much for America.
God bless the Republic.
Simply that it is also the right to point out other points of view regarding such a petition. It is better than giving into an old atavistic urge to assault this man. Heaven forbid.
Now you’re saying I’m not a patriot? And you’re the one supporting a foreigner attacking the Constitution? You’ve really proved my point, but you’ll never admit it. Have a nice life fighting illegal aliens for your job as a busboy.
Of course, you exaggerate. How would there be a mass reaction to his on-air bashing of the second Amendment if that were true? Someone had to be watching.
I would guess his ratings are low, lower than number one rival FoxNews in the same time slot. It is a ratings-driven business. So rather than telling him to shut up, they might pull the plug on him completely by letting him go - especially, if as you say, they can't be too proud of him anyway.
I wish he would get his facts right. Last night he called the AR15 a machine gun. The British are coming the British are coming.........where have I heard that before.
Yes, I exaggerate slightly. He has the lowest ratings of any cable news network in that time slot. Better?
Which point of yours was it, 1. "I have not read the First Amendment, but I'll tell you what's in it," or 2. "I want to exercise my First Amendment right to call for the deportation of some bozo who said something I don't like?"
As an aside, I was wondering this: say that you are on your way to a Tea Party rally, would you support the police checking your papers to see if you had the right to be there? [chuckle]
I’ll say 2. Do you have something against that? And again you prove my point.
As for your “aside”, it makes no sense, but does prove you’re a chucklehead. Thanks for playing. You certainly lived up to your screen name, including the “boy”.
I get the fact that I'm asking questions that make you feel uncomforable. That is a perfectly natural reaction to learning that your opinion is half-baked.
What does Mark Steyn have to do with anything? You are obviously reduced to grasping at straws. I get the fact that you have run out of half-baked leftist arguments and are desperate to change the subject. Therefore, this is my last response. I will let you have the last word and pretend, in your snarky, pseudo-smart fashion, to have proven the point that you never had in the first place. Merry Christmas.
Love the "I'm not going to respond," response. Hypocrite.
I knew you couldn’t resist another round of name-calling and off-topic nonsense to obscure your basic failure to make a cogent point. I wish you a Merry Christmas and you call me a hypocrite and a totalitarian wanna-be. And you still claim I don’t have the right to sign a petition, and then try to change the subject to Mark Steyn, who has zero to do with this thread. Fine. I take back my “Merry Christmas”. You and Piers have a happy NAMBLA.
I rather cringe at things like this but whatever. I’d ship him home in cardboard box if I could, or better yet I’d send him to North Korea.
