Jack Webb was also excellent in a fun movie we recently watched: Pete Kelly's Blues from 1955. It also features Janet Leigh, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Martin Milner, and a cameo by Jane Mansfield. Worth seeking out.
