After reading what you had posted and as a person who has had to deal with “learning challenges” all her life and had been in a wonderful relationship with a truly devout Bible believing Christian significant other for 21 years, before God called him home at the age of 46. He also had a “learning challenge”, that despite that, had a number of jobs and worked hard. He loved me very deeply, and I the same. We were starting to plan for our future when he taken ill very suddenly and a few days later, had passed on. Because of him, who pointed out to me the King of Kings, it was my faith that kept me going.

You are living in a era before Hussein, thinking courts matter. Hussein writes an executive order giving BATFE an order to write regulations making assault weapons (whatever definition he wants of assault weapons), against the law and outlawing clips/magazines that have more than 10 bullets in it.

There may be more regulations - limiting the number of bullets a person can buy.

Who is going to stop these executive orders from being carried out? No one. None of his other executive orders have been over ruled by congress.

American is under the thumb of a tyrant, yes, one as strong as Hitler in persuading people to let him rule as “one” over this nation. He is a King and we are peasants. He is the despot and we are chattel.

Sometimes I joke and use humor, but I'm not joking now. We have reached a time in our history that is the turning point. We reached the apex, the top of our civilization, and now, unless patriots act as they did in George Washington's time, there is little future for this country.

We still have some military men who understand being uncomfortable, being hot and freezing and carrying out their mission no matter what it takes to accomplish it. I don't know if there is enough resolve in men to save this country. We will see in the not distant future if there is as much resolve today as there was in Washington's time.

Thanks for the ping. I’ll just say that the Cuban missle crisis, the riots in the 60’s and 70’s, the assassinations of JFK and RFK, and the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan, Carter’s recession, NOTHING has ever scared me as much as what is happening today.

All my life, I have wondered how in the world, Germany went down without a civil war or invasion or something. How in the world did Hitler manage to turn a Republic into a dictatorship. I read and watched documentaries etc and still I would scratch my head, and say, I still don’t understand this.

Now I begin to understand. I can’t explain it, but I do understand it. I expect it will get worse before it gets better. We are being marched to perdition. Warnings have been issued and ignored. There is really no other country to run to. Get prepared, hunker down, and try to remain as anonymous as possible is probably the best means of survival.

Sarah is clear sighted, tells it like it is, and pulls no punches. Gotta admire her speaking out on issues. Daily we see the Republicans besmirched and ridiculed. It is a tough life for Conservatives. Not many are willing to be the butt of ridicule, and lied about daily.

The trouble is there are always willing to accept the lies and believe them. How many of us can imagine placing our self in such a position. God bless Sarah Palin and her family, strengthen and energize such a one to step forward and halt this death dive of America to disintegration of our way of life, and save our freedom, and private property, and freedom of movement, etc. Obama has fired 5 Generals, cut defense, across the board.
