Not only that, but there was once a time that people that were mentally ill could be separated from society. Committed. It’s extremely difficult, if not impossible, to do that any longer. Families with mentally ill relatives have no recourse, try as they might, and they have no choice except to just wait until their mentally ill relative goes ballistic and does something that destroys lives. They know, and want to do something, but current laws completely cut them off from helping their loved ones and the innocent lives that are at stake.

Good point; that is what created the “homeless problem” which is always blamed on Republicans, even though it was the libs that demanded that these people be “freed”.
