State police are responding to a report of a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dickinson Drive, school officials said.
Police are reporting a number of injured parties. The nature of their injuries is not clear.

If he was angry at his parents it was probably because he is an immature narcissistic brat who feels dependent and powerless because he can’t have his way. So maybe when he got into the school and killed his mom he liked the feeling of power so much he used his “power” to kill all the helpless kids.

Crap, this is like 9/11 again. Fairfield County, where I live, has almost a million people, but because it is near NYC, it has a high transient population. We "natives" have lived here for generations, and for us, it is rather a small community. Six degrees of separation kind of a thing - our kids compete against their kids in sports, or maybe we go to the same church or maybe went to high school together. My wife and I know literally dozens of people in Newtown, although most of our friends and acquaintances are older. Trouble is, that may mean that grandkids are involved in this.
We will be going to church this evening.

Fox reporter is saying that it was Ryans brother Andrew, age 20, that was the shooter and that Ryan is in custody. Lots of information coming and its a bit confusing at the moment.

Now, AP is reporting one and possibly 2 bodies at the home of the mother (mother was killed at the school).
This scene is being treated as a major crime scene.

That’s not the shooter. It was his younger brother. Atleast that’s what reports are now saying.
Anyone noticing all the shooters are young white males? I’d be interested to find how many of them had been subjected to psychological drugs... ritalin, paxil, etc.
