Organized Labor: The assault on a Fox News contributor protecting women and seniors in a tent is but the latest example of the civil discourse and respect for democracy the president's union supporters really have.
Imagine the outrage and the mainstream media feeding frenzy had it been a Tea Party member punching an MSNBC contributor covering a protest over ObamaCare.
Or if Tea Party members had descended on a tent full of Occupy Wall Street supporters, flattening and tearing it apart with total disregard for the people inside.
Yet that is precisely what happened to conservative comedian and Fox News contributor Steven Crowder on Tuesday as he tried to get between union thugs and a tent put up by the group Americans for Prosperity, which reserved the space to support Michigan's right-to-work legislation.
When he was assaulted, Crowder was near the AFP tent, which in his words "was torn down with women and possibly children still (inside)."
White House spokesman Jay Carney declined to condemn the violence and threats by union members in Michigan the day after President Obama made an appearance there to offer his support, merely telling reporters Tuesday that "the president believes in debate that's civil."
This, of course, is the president who told supporters in 2008 regarding his opponents: "I want you to argue with them and get in their face." Well, they sure got in Crowder's face.

.Tell me why Tony-the-union-thug is not in jail? ....
. why is sucker puncher Tony still on the street?
When you want racism and violence, don’t waste you time looking for it at a TEA Party rally. This is yet another time you can’t believe the state controlled “media” If you want to see violence and racism, you’re going to have to go to a Union rally.
The reporting bias in media that is running cover for Leftism is an extremely serious issue.
Media bias is pervasive and thorough. Just watched CNN for a bit tonight for the first time in years. Wow. Not ONE story on the Michigan events. Good grief. I just got evicted from the Globe and Mail tonight again (until tomorrow when I buy a pre-paid credit card; mine was blacklisted). lol. Been a LONG-TIME lurker but am going to start posting again. From the oil country of Canada.
Taking a cheap shot. Cowards do those sort of things.
If I want to watch raw violence I don’t have the watch a UFC fight or pop in a Sopranos DVD for the millionth time I’ll just go find a union rally and bring my chips and beer.
These stupid holdouts to the past can’t figure who moved their cheese and are reacting badly to a reality they can’t change. Remember “Gung-Ho”?
Time to punch back.
Will read tomorrow, going to bed for once.
Cheers!
But...but...but...they're union, too.
The boys at the New York Times would reach down and discover a pair if a Tea Party member had done this... Hey, you idiots at the New York Times and Washington Post - THIS is the real reason people don't subscribe to newspapers...
We will never get anywhere in our complaints about the media until we become bold enough and clear enough to call our opponents by their name. Granted that movies and fictional TV dramas have a leftist slant, the real burr under our saddle - and the people we have a legitimate beef and potential legal recourse against - are journalists. Specifically, journalists who work for members of the Associated Press, or who work for the AP directly. The Associated Press created the conceit of journalistic objectivity as a cover for the monopolistic propaganda power of the AP. Ironically, just as it is unwise to boast of your own wisdom it is not objective to most of your own objectivity. There is only one way to even attempt objectivity, and that is to dissociate oneself from any claim that you in fact are objective. Since no AP journalist ever does that, we know that AP journalists do not even attempt objective.
