Sources tell CNN the United States is huddling with allies on what a chemical attack by Syria's Bashar al Assad would look like and there are reports that Assad maybe looking for asylum in Latin America.

Where is the proof that Syria has WMDs?
I think it has. But it has no intention to use it for sure.
Oh yeah, for sure.
And just because the Israeli’s destroyed a nuclear reactor in Syria, does not mean they still want to possess WMD. This is completely different then Iraq.
He will do it—I feel it in my bones. Saddam’s revenge. He will used them to keep back an invasion and to decimate the rebels. He may well send rockets into Israel just to start a war—and gain Egyptian Help. The Rebels hate Israel worse than Assad—and would join him in his Jihad against them! Hezballa, Hamas, Egypt, Iran would get into it too! He could blame Israel for arming the rebels—If US gets involved—gas the US ships too! Terrorists could hit bases in the gulf and Europe. WW III hits on December 21st!
Must be there if the MSM says it is./s
Some twisted logic there. The mind of a progressive. Twisted into knots.
Is that what the 0bama intel community says? The ones who said an ‘anti-Mohammed video’ caused a spontaneous protest to turn into a coordinated terrorist attack? I don’t see any WMDs.
Shilling for the ChiComs isn’t keeping you busy enough these days?
Have a nice day.
Obama is crazy if he thinks his plans will work out.
Asylum in South America didn’t quite work out for Eichmann...
Assad will not attack Israel, because if he did,
Assad and his family would
be attacked personally.
I heard some politi-critter today saying we would have to put U.S. boots on the ground if Assad used chem weapons. 0bozo has been softening the ground of public opinion here for this.
The use of chemicals would create harsher division between Sunni and Shia Muslims.
Assad being Shia minority, fighting against the Sunni majority there.
That could help us get better commitments in the region against Iran.
But, Evil Obama is President, so never mind.
I just had a worst-case scenario vision: Assad arranges to be evacuated to some haven in Latin America (probably Venezuela), and then uses his chemical arsenal to devastate Syria.
I fear your bones may be right. Meanwhile here is another view of the problem. Reading it, my conclusion is the most useful thing that could be done is to clear the skies of airplanes, except for the problem of how Russia would react.
hussein is accomplishing 2 goals here:
1. mollifying his base.To the radical progressives the only "just war" for the US to be involved in is one in which we have no national interest or it will harm our interests.
2. Pleasing his saudi (sunni) masters. Both Israel and iran, including their hashemite puppet syria must be destroyed for the sunni caliphate to rule.
Syria has been full of WMD’s for many years. That you don’t see them simply means you’re not paying attention, and haven’t been.
There’s WMD’s in Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Gaza, Egypt and anywhere with an islamic regime. Even the “moderates” like Kuwait.
Strange, and no WMD in Iraq? Go figure.
Where’s the proof? The same intel community that said there were WMDs in Iraq?
Why should we do anything there, no matter what is happening? These rebels are pure jihadi wahabbi moslem brotherhood. The same crew that took over Egypt and crufiying Christians.
And im amazed how many people here are content to believe Obama’s claim that gas attacks are about to happen, which happens to be his way to get us in a war in Syria.
Insanity. The rebels are more anti israel than Assad. Obama is doing more of his evil work. And unfortunately, many on our side automatically support every single war, no matter how wrong it is for us.
Why in Gods name is everyone so eager to attack into the middle of a civil war in Syria, on behalf of the moslem brotherhood that just took over Egypt?
Can there ever be ANY war that we are not dragged into? How many hundreds of billions will this one cost us as we try to install a new radical sharia government?
Why is this our business? Assad is bad, but we are about to replace him with someone FAR worse. This is not worth one single American life.
That's because I've been wasting my time putting together posts like this...
What have you been doing other than missing sarcasm so obvious a 10 year old could catch it?
The “intel community”? If you had any connections, you’re know what the intel community is. It’s not what you think it is, I can guarantee you that ;).
Anyway, there are facts out there that you’ll not find in published documents or the press. Like, Saudi Arabia has had a biowar program for a generation more advanced than the old Soviet Biopreparat, connected to Denmark and now almost certainly employing some fo the old Biopreparat researchers. The US is, too.
And yes, there were WMD’s in Iraq. Thank you for the Democrat Underground moment, you idjit.
I can’t imagine why anyone here would consider for even a moment following 0bamugabe into a war. He’s orchestrating this whole thing to destroy Israel.
Yeah well, I don’t do sarcasm before coffee. Deal with it :)).
Oh boy... I sure hope the Syrians don’t launch those things into America’s concentrated Democrat parasite nests, I mean cities.
Smells like a setup in the making. Best guess ... both sides have chemical weapons.
I'm told it's in all CAPITALS, BOLD, and..ITALICS.
You haven’t been paying attention. obama sides with the iranians almost 100% of the time. The saudis collude with Israel way too much.
Well well well. I seem torecall another President making that argument...and has been vilified ever since. Any question on where those chemical weapons came from? But with a compliant media and dumbed down public, any story this particular adminstration puts out will be the ‘news that’s fit to print’. I hate these people.
And they weren't there when we got there for one very simple reason:
After farting around for weeks with those imbeciles in the UN, our friend Saddam had plenty of time to get rid of them. And he did - to Syria. We have tons of video of miles of trucks streaming from Iraq to Syria.
Sane people have known the weapons have been there all along - liberal idiots will soon find out.
My take is that Syria has WMD’s from Saddam but likely has no forces trained to use them and not die in the process.
Our gutless hack in the White House should have struck with drones, when the first truck entered the compound where the UNMIXED chemicals were stored.
1- You destroy the truck and occupants, not necessarily the chemicals.
2- IF the chemicals are damaged, at least they’re unmixed and less lethal.
3- You send a strong message NOT TO TOUCH!
We were told the reason for the crappy response in Benghazi was that the drones were monitoring the Chem Weapons storage sites in Syria.
So, what part of “monitoring” did the WH fail to comprehend?
Except maybe the ones Sadaam shipped there just before the war.
“Smells like a setup in the making. Best guess ... both sides have chemical weapons.”
I do too. Obama wants Assad out NOW, and that’s why we have seen articles in the press raising the alarm about Assad using chemical weapons. At this juncture, what is to stop the REBELS from firing off some chemical weapons and blaming it on Assad’s forces? How would any of us know the truth??? It gives the US a reason to “step in” and quickly finish Assad’s military off.
Actually, the same WMDs. Saddam shipped them to Syria before we invaded....
*I* am not following *him* anywhere, let alone to war against the Assad regime in Syria. I am looking at the current situation in that neck of the woods vis a vis certain Biblical prophecies, nothing more than that...
Yeah. How come nobody’s asking: why the rush to judgement?
Every media campaign has a hidden purpose.
I would not be surprised to see a false flag chemical/bio attack on CONUS by an alleged Hezbollah team.
They are looking for an event to crack on our domestic critics and dissidents.
Pray that I am wrong.
