This is much better than the usual crap from Boehner. Now he puts ObamaCare on the table and then during negotiations it comes off the table and we pay more taxes. Before it looked like Boehner’s starting place was caving in and paying taxes only to compromise and end up paying even more taxes. so at this point I welcome any slight improvement in our miserable pathetic negotiating position. :-)

Exactly. You got it. When you negotiate, you have to start from a position of strength, not weakness. No reason to feel that Obama has any more of a mandate than the GOP does in the House.
I’m ready to get head over heels over the cliff, if it means we prevent ZERO from causing more harm.
