This is hysterical! The FAA would not approve. Good shot nevertheless.

If the property is private, they have no right to fly a drone over it.
What is the difference between this and spying on nude sunbathers with a drone?
It is invasion of privacy.....but liberals have no respect for privacy unless it can be used to further their pet causes.

I hope the hunting club members take the shoot and shut-up route. If nobody talks, the investigation is stalled.
It is time to stick together folks!

SHARK claimed a single sharp rifle crack rang out, I'm impressed if it was taken out with a single rifle shot. Usually you use a shotgun to take out a flying pest like this.

Probably one of the hunters thought it was a pigeon.
Or, more seriously, they shot it down because it was disturbing the pigeons and spoiling their shoot.

I’m pretty sure that spy drones are not legal for “civilian use.” Try prosecuting SHARK.

Which reminds me of another story of someone shot a woman (thankfully no injury) because her harido was showing over the fence and the shooter thought it furry or something.

I was wondering about that, too. You have no right to tresspass on the shooting club’s property. If your fancy toy gets shot, who cares.

There are numerous stories about this on the net. They all seem to be about the same event. It appears to me that S.H.A.R.K. is trying to milk this for fundraising and media attention. I believe the actual event happened several months ago, if at all.
Leftists are known for faking such events to garner support. Numerous fake “racism” and other attacks have been documented.
I am not convinced that the anti-hunting group did not do it to itself to garner publicity.

An evil bad man a hunter shot that innocent little plane that was just flying over and taking pictures of that evil bad man shooting at innocent little homeless animals.
Bull$shi!
The man was engaging in a legal activity. He thought the drone was for target practice and done shot it down.
To: Larry R. Johnson
Now we have private groups spying on people. Where can I get something big enough to take down a drone?
To: Erik Latranyi
The corrupt/criminal EPA once told me (2003, IIRC) that the airspace over my Family Farm and all of the CONUS, and the minerals in the ground, were theirs. The haughty/arrogant ACoE also told me that they own ALL water rights in the 50 (or is it 57?) states. I told them both, GFYs! That was a mistake; the harassment began shortly, thereafter.

“Animal rights” drones. Is there anyone in this country capable of minding their own business?
To: Larry R. Johnson
The animal wackos drone was trespassing on private property.
A hunt club, no less.
It shows the depths of these wackos delusions that they were surprised that it was shot down.
Of course it was shot down.

If the leftys are determined to continue I will trade a $0.2 shotshell for $4000 of damage to their drone any day of the week. I suggest put up a no aerial trespassing sign outside the entrance and next time use larger shot to bring the drone down on club property. Finders keepers.

47-percenters living off the taxpayer...plenty of time & money on their hands to buy $4K drones and harass hunters conducting a legal activity...hunters whose license fees are used for conservation efforts so there are more pigeons each year for the shoot. Idiot animal-huggers.
