Enough of this getting a tax return when the person didn’t earn anything.

The "return" is the actual document you file. A "refund" is what you get back from fedguv even though you might not have paid any in (unless you owe federal, state, local taxes, child support, or in the future.....Obamacare penalties.

Malaysia kicked out Singapore, by a vote of the other states in the Nation. The ethnic Maylays did not want to be dominated by the ethnic Chinese, so they kicked them out of the country. This is one of the few examples I am aware of where "reverse secession" was implemented.

A lot of States need to kick out blue counties.

Alternately some sort of "ideological cleansing" could work.

Either way, it ain't gonna be pretty.
