That sounds too high, just from a space and traffic management viewpoint. I found figures of 1300, 1700, and 1800 on the net, although none of these seemed super reliable. Based on maps I have seen of the White House, a lot of these people must work at the EOB.

I nearly 30 years in the military...at Major Commands and the Pentagon...I never heard of a military liaison or social liaison like the ones being described of late. WTF is this?

I was just reading about her activities in NYC on that day. The administration is working on how Syria transitions to whatever it is the admin wants when they eventually topple or get Assad to step down. So extremists don’t take over, of course. I am sure that will make everybody happy in Syria just like they are in Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan.
Sometimes I can agree with Ron Paul.
