It may actually be the fact that Mitt doesn’t really take it all that deeply to heart in spite of having a nominally high post in the organization, that is to credit that he is as sane as he is.

I've been pointing out for a VERY long time that IMAGE that they (eGOP and MORMONs both) wanted to paint of Mitt did NOT align with the teachings of the church.

If he was a devote MORMON, he should have NEVER have held some political postitions that he has in the past.

Then DO it. Mitt's RECORD showed that he was neither.

Yeah, it does look like his own fellow muckety mucks just nodded and winked, doesn’t it? They’re Mormon when they feel like it, and then they aren’t when they don’t.

I got to wonder how Mormons BELIEVE some of that stuff at all. The Seventh Day Adventists did come up with some dietary regulations that look superficially like the WoW but really... at least they look like they try to make sense today while the WoW looks like someone’s personal hang-ups before refrigeration was commonly available.
