My mind tells me the same thing. My Christian heart tells me otherwise. I'm struggling with right now...
I’m shutting down my charitable contributions and concentrating on things like my aging parents. The country needs to learn what it’s like without us around so much.
That's because if we who are the Church were to do our work, there would be no need for government welfare.
If there was no need for government welfare, then why would people object to ending it?
It is by loving people, real love that gets you involved with the good of that person, that we can change lives and minds.
If we put first things first, second things will follow.
Keep the charity in your community. Local churches...something.
Nachum, what a GREAT rant by Mark. Thanks!

you’re not hte only one- I had all I coudl do to refrain from being uncivil in hte midst of this nightmare- I am really strugglign and losign hte struggle to be tolorant and forgiving- and I’m havign a hard time acceptign that ‘All things work together for good to them that l;ove the Lord’ even though that’s what I’ve been taught all my life- I harbour bitterness and anger- I know it’s wrogn and have tried to not fall victim to it- but I’m failing-
