Obama Refuses to Answer About Storm Victims’ Frustrations
White House Dossier ^ | November 3, 2012 | Keith Koeffler

Posted on 11/03/2012 3:31:27 PM PDT by Kaslin

President Obama this morning ignored a reporter’s question about the mounting frustration victims of Hurricane Sandy are having with the response to the storm, refusing to let a question from the press interrupt a FEMA photo op in which he was on display taking action.

An excerpt rom the press pool report, which starts with a quote from Obama:

“There is nothing more important than us getting this right. And we’re going to spend as much time, effort and energy as necessary to make sure all the people of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut know that the entire country is behind them in this difficult recovery effort.”

He spoke for about five minutes. Pool asked about frustrations of people, particularly Staten Island. He did not respond.

No doubt aware of the political perils – and potential benefits – of the fallout from the hurricane, Obama arrived at FEMA with multiple members of his Cabinet in tow in a massive display of presidential concern. Even Cabinet secretaries you wouldn’t expect to be involved in hurricane relief – such as the Secretary of Labor and the Small Business Administration Administrator – have been enlisted and were at this morning’s meeting.

Obama’s effort will indeed have some practical effect – anytime a president shows he is personally engaged in an issue, it helps get the various agencies involved into a higher gear.

But with scenes of devastation proliferating on voters’ TV screens around the nation and evidence mounting of an insufficient response, Obama obviously felt he had to be seen at FEMA for a second time this week before heading back out to campaign.

After the visit to FEMA, Obama departed for Ohio.

Is the government incompetence after Sandy causing Democrats who were going to vote for him to change their minds?

I guess zero saying “i don’t give a flying f@!k about you” is not the reply people want to hear.

nor would they want to hear “vote for me on Tuesday alright?”

Actually, skivvywaver, this is becoming funnier by the second.

All over the country, the media pimps are pounding their heads against their desktops while they try to figure out how to spike THIS story.

(And that ain’t nothin’ compared to the sh**storm they’re getting from what’s left of their reader/viewer base over their willful malfeasance about Bengazi.)

Actually, the ‘rats may have to rethink that deal of delaying the vote in NY after one or two more days of screwing the pooch after Sandy. Those people are becoming medieval right now, and throwing ‘em a plate of cookies or buying fuel for ‘em is only going to keep ‘em from marching on DC and tearing somebody a new anus for only so long.

....and for once, there is absolutely no way to blame Bush.

Couldn’t happen to nicer or more deserving people.

...see? God even answers prayers from dirty old sailors...

One problem, the Bigger the Govt, the bigger the FAIL

I read that FEMA ran out of water.
I read that plans are underway for military trucks be deployed as mobile voting stations, loaded with paper ballots.

Imagine the poor soul, hungry, thirsty, wet and cold. Sees a military truck, expects to score some water and relief supplies...

Only to see a schmucky schummer poster and a stack of ballots.

...a FEMA photo op in which [Obama] was on display taking action.

LOLOLOL..."action" -- like what? Strutting around in his POTUS bomber jacket looking "presidential." This cretin hasn't done an honest day's work in his entire life and doesn't have a clue how anything really gets done. What "action" could he possibly presume to know about? Barking orders for people to answer phones in 15 minutes?

What a pathetic little twerp.

The idea of suddenly printing hundreds of thousands of paper ballots sure seems funny & intriguing.

Most states have a number of counties.

Elections in counties have different candidates & different county referendums that get voted on. You could NOT print just one ballot for a whole state with different counties, different items & different candidates because people can ONLY vote for items which apply to their county or city. ONE mass ballot would not be correct.

Each Secretary of State for each state must approve the layout of ballots and sign off on them before they go to the printer.
Given all those problems, I don’t know how ‘ballots’ could be ‘printed’ in a very short amount of time.

IF ‘printed ballots’ suddenly appear, I would be VERY suspicious. Were they printed so that the vote could be changed-—past the electronic machines we are supposed to be using???

Also—’mobile voting stations” ??? I have to sign in in my precinct where I am supposed to vote. I go to the poll—the polling place doesn’t come to me. I sign in after showing my ID and they look at my signature. Then I get a ballot. How are ‘mobile polling trucks’ going to have the correct information? how will they know where the precinct lines are drawn? Half the street signs are gone & many streets are impassable.

Am I the only one that smells something very fishy about this???
