This “Libyan rebel commander” was on the very boat whose “peaceful” passengers attacked israeli commandoes as they came aboard to search for blockade busting items such as weapons destined for Hamas.
Just for the record, the most of the perps who launched the attack on the Israelis on board this vessel belonged to the group IHH. The IHH is a Turkish terror group that bombed some historic sites in Turkey associated with Ataturk and worked against the previous secular government, before Obama’s buddy Erdogan came to power. Edogan as we know has arrested a number of secular Turkish generals and officers.
Also on board that vessel were Obama’s friends from Code Pink.

With so many islamist groups in Benghazi, it would be hard to distinguish them from the others - though supposedly Ansar al Sharia did take responsibility.
