I have to believe it’s a ploy. Who is all charged up with sexual innuendo even to the point that he asks the father of a slain former-SEAL about his son’s balls? Who has been paying so much attention to plugs and face lifts and teeth trying to look young? They’ll say Biden is having an affair. He steps aside tomorrow. Hillary steps in which is why Bill has been helping Obama. Hillary on the ticket makes Obama competitive....with liberals.

” The story involves a Senator flying down to a big donor’s place in the Caribbean for orgies. Hookers are involved.

Doesn't take too much imagination to see Dingy Harry involved in this, not too much at all considering his Vegas connections.

Mark Warner might fit. I recall he was touted as a strong challenger to Hillary in 2008, but declined to run. There were rumors of 'intern problems'. But he's not running this year so it doesn't fit the Drudge headline about hitting a campaign.

Who's the top D Sen. overseeing their 2012 Sen. campaigns? Could it be...Schumer?

My money is on Sherrod Brown, Ohio.

That would be great. But I think sex is above his pay grade.

The credibility of a powerful Democratic Senator or the credibility of a hooker.

Hmmm ... I'd rather trust a successful private (very) sector entrepreneur in the personal (very) services business before I'd trust a politician.

ANY politician.

My money is on Sherrod Brown, Ohio. Bitter race going on with josh mandel

Brown would lock Ohio for Mitt and then it's all over.

I did a search of ‘senators’ and ‘caribbean’ just for sh!ts and giggles......and this came up. I thinking of someone who could be down there a lot on ‘official business’ or ‘fact finding missions’.

http://www.google.com/#hl=en&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=senator%2C+caribbean&oq=senator%2C+caribbean&gs_l=hp.12..0i5i30.1746.1746.0.3723.1.1.0.0.0.0.104.104.0j1.1.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.71ttcGOqhf0&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=2b1f97d30028e145&bpcl=37189454&biw=1024&bih=551

The then I thought about Charlie Wrangle:

The way Drudge wrote it makes it unclear. He said in the top line a scandal to hit campaign but underneath it just says a powerful senator is involved in a scandal. It doesn’t really say that the powerful senator is running for re-election.

Committees

Senator Nelson is a member of the U.S. Senate Budget, Commerce, Finance, Intelligence and Aging committees.

Budget Committee

Drafts the annual budget for the federal government. This committee creates economic policy and sets parameters for congressional spending.

Commerce Committee

Has jurisdiction over consumer affairs. The panel also deals with a range of issues that have a direct impact on Florida's economy, including NASA, science, technology, foreign commerce, tourism, oceans and fisheries.

Subcommittees:

■Chairman of the Science and Space Subcommittee

■Member of the Aviation Operations, Safety, and Security Subcommittee

■Member of the Communications, Technology, and the Internet Subcommittee

■ Member of the Oceans, Atmosphere, Fisheries, and Coast Guard Subcommittee

Finance Committee

Has jurisdiction over all taxes and revenue, many health care programs including Medicare and Medicaid, international trade policy, and customs. It is often called the most important committee in the Senate because of its broad jurisdiction.

■Chairman of the Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Growth Subcommittee

Intelligence Committee

Oversees the intelligence activities and programs of the United States Government.

Aging Committee

Oversees and investigates a range of issues affecting seniors, including retirement security, nursing home quality, consumer scams and prescription drug prices.

My guess, Tim Kaine. Not really “powerful” but a former DNC chair. Running for re-election vs. George Allen, could turn Virginia for Romney.

Or...Biden steps aside and Chris Christie steps in for healing our nation, bipartisanship, bla bla bla? Would solve two stories with one stone, so to speak.

Nelson would be a shocker. Empty suit and idiot that he is, he is a pretty devout Christian. Although we know that doesn’t necessarily stop someone from sexual proclivities and dalliances.

Too stubborn to ever show a sign, Because his heart was made of knotty pine.

Poor ol Kaw-liga, he never got a kiss, Poor ol Kaw-liga, he don't know what he missed, Is it any wonder that his face is red? Kaw-liga, that poor ol' wooden head.

As lonely as can be, And wishes he was still an ol' pine tree.

Sounds like Joe Biden.
