Scientists tell us that if we do not reduce our emissions, these problems will only grow worse, he said.
Some of these same "experts"(And using the same temperature data, no less) also were warning us in the Seventies of the "Big Chill"and famines and crop failures caused by by the same usage of fossil fuels that would bring on the next Ice Age.
Many of population alive today shouldn't be because of the fore-casted "Doom and Gloom" by massive hunger, energy shortages and wars caused by such deprivations
When that panned out it became Global Warming.
My opinion was and still is if Carter had won in 1980 and not Reagan, we WOULD have had such calamities because it would have been the results of the policies Carter and his "Energy crisis is real" policy pushers' agenda.
Thank God(countlessly) we were blessed with President Ronald Reagan who got the oil taps flowing again!!!

Yep, for certain, all storms are a disturbing sign of things to come.
Right after any big storm, we get Gore and the AGW crowd and Meghan McCain and the environmental wackos, all proclaiming that, it's a sign of "global warming", aka: climate change.
Those storms cause a lot extra damage to the country, when they bring out that disturbing crowd of people.

84 tropical or subtropical cyclones have hit New York since the 17th century. Did global warming cause them too?

Chicken Little is exactly right-if idiot Al would watch History 2, The Science Channel, etc-or (perish the thought) go to a few archaeological sites on the internet, he’d see that evidence of weather events like this one are found all over this continent, practically every time a team of archaeologists starts digging, dating back 10’s of thousands of years, complete with the ruined remnants of trees, villages, and washed out shorelines.
We’re just smarter now, able to predict the weather better, so we can run away and not have half our tribe wiped out. No one was driving SUVs or burning fossil fuel then-what part of cyclical weather patterns do idiots like that not understand?

Wouldn’t it be great if there were a record that showed that there were monster storms hitting New York and New Jersey long before now? Wouldn’t that be great?

(The most fascinating one is the one from around the 1300s that they deduced from geological analysis. I wonder if Al wants to blame that one on the overindustrialization of the Lenape tribes. I’d like to see him try.)

I’d like to see the hard science about this. Unfortunately there is no true science any more. Even the scientists have gone liberal and use their “science” to prove liberal dogmas.

Funny thing is, in the 12 years that Al Gore been spouting his BS about Globull Warning, no one has asked him how to fix it, or when asked, he never gave an answer.
