President Barack Obama holds a relatively narrow lead of six points over Republican challenger Mitt Romney in Oregon, according to a new poll conducted for The Oregonian.
Obama's lead is considerably smaller than his margin of victory in Oregon four years ago and is a sign of how tight the presidential race has become across the nation.

No, not married women with husbands and families.
“Women” who want consequence-free fornication (”like a man can”), yes.
“Women” who want the gov’t to be their proxy father/husband, yes.
That’s whom he has support from.
What’s the spread with men?
I bet Romney is leading by double digits with white men in OR.
Why would a fishwrap liberal paper mention the “gender gap” if O had good news with male voters?
You might add the ladies who eat at the Y.

Those have numbers that are insignificant.
No matter how much “jamming” the left does, shoving homos in our faces, they still just get one vote, and they are less than 2% of the population.
Good lord, ya can’t get much more blue that Oregon. If they are touting that state right now, Obama is in big trouble.
Obama is only leading by 6 in a poll that has a 5% MOE and getting 47%. He is toast here too.

I don’t really believe O has a 2 point lead with men.
Why wouldn’t they mention it? Pathetic!
And being up 6 in a very Blue State is not a good sign for O’s fortunes.
When I think of white men in Oregon, I think of the pony tailed 60-something old hippy, not like the Marlboro man image of a white man from say Montana.
Another perception I have of a white man in Oregon is the spike haired, nose ring, dog collar wearing 20 or 30-something year old kind like you would see on the streets of Portland.
Yeah, I can see Obama leading among men in OR.
Think Portland and Eugene. The rest of the state is Marlboro
country.
I don’t know about “women” exactly. We had a great experience of living in Eugene. We, at that time in our lives, we’re amused at the politics there. It was foreign to us but fun to watch. BUT, “women” by normal definition? I don’t think so.
