If the full impact of this storm hits at high tide, a great deal of people are going to get a very bad surprise. No matter the timing, big old trees are coming down.
I’m in NY state and already have wind. And there’s a LOT of leaves on the trees for wind to catch. Add soaked soil and it ain’t going to be pretty.
