Re: Bike in lake? - or - Bike in perps’ house?

Very important point, Naps.

I'm the guy who posted this, and I did notice the contradiction.

“The Conservative Tree House” is the source for the “lake” story, but no other media confirm it.

“Tree House” is probably the best source in the country for the Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case, so I trusted “Tree House” based on past performance.

I may have made a bad mistake.

However, the tone of news reports filed in the last 36 hours seems to have completely changed.

References to the bike being found at the perps’ house have completely disappeared.

Plus, references to the mother “turning in” her kids have also disappeared.

I found one social media reference that claims local residents are posting that the mother's initial contact with Police was to “inquire about the reward.”

I'm an old guy who doesn't do Twitter or Facebook, so I can't verify that.

Anyway, your point is well taken, and I may have made a BIG goof posting this story.

No worries. None of us are denying the uptick of Black on White crimes. What is even more criminal is the under-reporting of Black on Asian nationals.

Anyway, the younger perp in this case is your typical juvenile delinquents that had a history of stealing bikes (minor crimes, probably mostly on Blacks - my guess, it is not reported), progressing to more serious crimes.

This crime may or may not be pre-meditated; it’s up to the court to decide. However I don’t know how we are going to determine what is or is not a true “Hate Crime”.
