In that case, why is the Secretary of Defense being called on to make a snap decision on a sudden military intervention in the middle of an international crisis?Panetta was in the WH for a pre-scheduled meeting when the call came in. So, did an aid come up to Panetta, whisper in his ear in front of 0coward, and then Panetta said "excuse me, Mr. Coward, I have something to attend to that doesn't concern you?" And the WH Situation Room station chief never notified Mr. Coward?

This is exactly what needs to be asked in some brutal cross-examinations. And leaked. By some real heros.
