In a video posted to Facebook, Slaughter discusses the many attempts the farmers made to expose fraud in the Pigford "black farmers" lawsuit.
Breitbart News reported a series of stories in 2011 about Mr. Slaughter and his claim that when Sanford Bishop was informed about Pigford fraud by a group of black farmers, he told them to be quiet or else they would "shut this thing down." He was referring to the fraudulent settlement that reportedly paid $50,000 to tens of thousands of people who had never farmed a day in their life.

IIRC, Pigford, GA is the birthplace and early home of a great American....Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

I understand these Farmers anger against the assorted con-artists, politicians and the lying corrupt lawyers who made a mockery of their legitimate and hard won lawsuit against unfair and illegal banking practices.PIGFORD.
It seems odd to me that they already got paid, and many older and clearer suits by Native tribes lawsuits against the BIA are still pending, but hey, good for them!
I hope they all vote “the party line” in sync with their Congressional rep vote
