From what I can tell, four Americans and up to ten Libyan security personnel died during the 9.11 attacks on the U.S. Benghazi facilities.
I cannot find any info on enemy casualties... do any FReepers know how many jihadists died in the fighting? Or is it just too insensitive to report on any jihadi losses?
Romney needs to hit Obama the communist hard on this Obama refusing to give aid to Americans who were being attacked by Muslims
This is freedom and America’s last stand. If that communist Muslim Obama wins then the socialists achieve their goal of destroying freedom forever. Do everything you can to elect Romney and so save freedom.
I believe that three were captured and turned over to the Libyans. As to the number of dead terrorists, I have heard no numbers, and our guys left in a hurry. No time to pick up the trash.
80 was the number in one of the threads I was reading earlier today.
What died? An another part of America died. The parts that are systematically being slaughtered by Marxist dictator wanna be’s. Unless this wanton crusade on the principals that made America the greatest nation since the creation are terminated (with extreme prejudice if necessary) we are dooming untold generations worldwide to more misery than can be imagined. JMHO rant.
Why didn’t the attackers go in and finish off everyone at the annex? They withdrew. Three of the attackers were captured, but have somehow disappeared. Earlier posts wrote about weapons going from Libya to Turkey and then to Syria to the rebels in Syria. There is talk that the meeting that Ambassador Stevens had with the person from Turkey, just before the attack, concerned the fact that Russia had discovered that the US was arming the rebels fighting the Syrian government. Russia and Iran support the Syrian government. The guys attacking the annex in Benghazi appear to be pretty well trained and well disciplined. What if they were Russians or Iranians? It would be more important that they withdraw and not be captured or leave any nonLibyan looking casualties behind.
