Art imitating life, or history repeating itself?
If you’ve seen “Argo”, this sounds remarkably like the White House reaction to the final escape plan for the 6 Americans holed up at the Canadian Embassy.
If you HAVEN’T seen “Argo”, please do so before voting, as a reminder of what happened to us the last time we had such an ineffective man inhabiting the Oval Office! Admittedly somewhat overdramatized, and we all know where Ben Affleck’s politics lie, but he didn’t muck with the basics of the story, thank goodness!
I can’t wait to see the movie that’s made about Benghazi. A conservative patriot in Hollywood needs to make it so the American people can see how Zero left those guys to die. Once they see faces behind the names and get to know them via the actors, they would be even more angry over their needless deaths and Zero’s abandonment. Whenever I think about their last moments on earth, waiting for the cavalry that never came, my blood boils even more!
REALLY good movie. Recommended. Go see it.
The electorate needs to be reminded of Jimmy Carter and the likes of him before it heads off to the polls.
