Probably a redundant post at this point, but the truth is Gen. Powell has lost us. His loss.
To: My Favorite Headache
He was never one of us and it was foolish of the previous adminstrations to ever think so. Screw the calypso louie loving affirminive action hire.

Politics chews and spits people out, but with that said he should be chewed, spit out, ridiculed, flushed and abandoned.

We never had himOf course not.
That piece of sh!+ pretended to be a black "Republican" because he thought the novelty would help his military and political careers back when he was getting started. Sorry to say, it probably worked for him, but he's old and done now so he doesn't need to play that game anymore. What surprises me is that he carried on the charade as long as he did. Now, he's publicly right where his heart and mind were all along.
Good riddance to bad garbage.

Looks like an outdoor stadium for a ball game - seems like a bunch of yellow shirts in the background if that indicates a team (perhaps a Chicago Team - Louie’s hometown).
I wonder if the sweet young thing on Powell’s other side is part of the hospitality team?
It certainly looks like Powell is inside the “Fruit of Islam” security detachment as a guest. Truly horrifying though, is that it seems they are sharing the same hairdresser - that is just too gay.

Colin Powell, Louis Farrakhan and Miss World Lisa Hanna Colin Powell and Louis Farrakhan confer with Jamaica's Minister of Culture (and former Miss World pageant winner) Lisa Hanna. Powell and Farrakhan, both of whom have parents hailing from the island, were among the foreign dignitaries in attendance at Monday nights independence gala at the National Stadium.

Farrakhan?!! The same Farrakhan that along with the Black panthers meets with Ahmadinejad in 2010 and in 2012? The same ones that want to destroy capitalism? Maybe Powell is only pretending to support Obama and he's really CIA now? This disappoints me, I had very much admired the man. I actually thought years back Powell would be our first black president. Oh well...

I suppose for Powell the same thing could be said for Benedict Arnold as far as service to Country and point of view is considered. Powell showed his real stripes back in 2008. Bush showed his naivete/lack of character judgement by having Powell piggy back the system through his military career to a position alongside the POTUSA. I don’t believe Powell’s endorsement at this time hurts Romney much but it really highlights Powell’s patriotism.

I don’t think we ever had him. I’ve watched him over the years and he was never my idea of a conservative.

“Powell played the im a black conservative game to get where he did. what we now see is what he always really was.”
He’s exactly like Obama, except he worked the other side of the Affirmative Action Room to get where he is? They are just different sides of the same turd!
