When the histories of the 2012 campaign are written, much will be made of Bill Clintons re-emergence. His convention speech may well have marked the finest moment of President Obamas re-election campaign, and his ads on the presidents behalf were memorable.
But there is one crucial way in which the 42nd president may not have served the 44th quite as well. In these final weeks before the election, Mr. Clintons expert advice about how to beat Mitt Romney is starting to look suspect.

Down goes Frazier.
Now why should we make a hero of Bubba?
The opening sentence: “When the histories of the 2012 campaign are written, much will be made of Bill Clintons re-emergence”. That is hilarious.
Bildo's worst nightmare—stuck somewhere with Her Heinous who took up residence under there last week.
When the New York Slimes start bad-mouthing Bubba , you know it’s all over.
He only has to appear to help Hussein to the extent he that will please voting blacks and not ONE INCH further. Why? So Hillary can run again, even though she’ll be a total HAG.
This will not end well for Barry...get me the popcorn!
well well well............
If anyone actually believed Bill Clinton wanted to help Barack Obama, you don’t know Bill Clinton.
Probably the simplest way of explaining what I mean is the nice lady from North Carolina who informed me that in the South, the expression “Bless his heart” doesn’t mean what you think it does.
Obama is a one-man show. Its not the Obama administration, its the Obama show.
His VP is a joke who is never heard from. His political enemy is his secretary of state. The rest of his cabinet are never heard from or are unknowns - and Obama seems to like it that way. He has not assembled a “brain trust” and never refers, mentions, or gives credit to senior advisors. He certainly doesn’t defer to anyone supposedly smarter or more experienced than himself.
You either buy into his sole rock-star status, or you don’t. So anyone upstaging him, like Clinton, will hurt Obama.
Matt Bai gave too much credit to Team Obama.
Have you seen who run the campaign, and their spokesperosns?
Plouffe, Messina, Cutter, et al. are not in the same league.
The Bill Clinton brand will truck on once Obama loses and it will take along time for Obama to repair his image because he’ll be tagged as a failed president. Clinton would laugh if he saw this blog post.
My Grandma always said that you can get away with saying ugly things about someone as long as you say “bless his/her heart” first.
Bless his heart, he can't help being an idiot.
Maybe it's Obama's judgement that's "suspect" for trusting Clinton in the first place.
I like how they act like Clinton was a master national campaigner, carefully forgetting he never got a majority and if Ross hadn’t split the right Clinton would just be another entry on the list of Dem nominees that lost.
I would say this should be the end for obama, billy, hilly, dirty harry, nancy. I say they each must take credit for their foul play and political downfall! and good riddance to many unnamed others who played a role in this cover-up!
Always remember ... good people died, grandparents, mothers and fathers, sons and daughter, sister and brothers!!
The Democrats have put this country, THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA in jeopardy and we let them! Now is the time to clean up their mess.
Remember that Clinton could only help himself on the campaign trail. He was the kiss of death for other candidate aand they knew it.
The impeached and disbarred Bill Clinton.
Who cares? The whole miserable lot of these cretins suck.
