What is Ohio Governor John Kasich doing? All statewide elected officials in Ohio are Rs’ and also both houses of General Assembly. I sse not one stitch of support on their part to help Romney (except Sen Portman).

I’m a bit jaded so I suspect they held out for “what are you going to do for me” crap.

Only recently elected Senator Rob Portman has actively helped Romney.

Kasich did appear at a Ryan talk at his alma matre, Miami U of Ohio. Kasich literally twiddled his thumbs standing beside Ryan. It was embarrasing. The dude used to have a talk show on Fox news. He KNOWS how to act. What a doo-fuss

Conservatives did. What did Romney do? If Romney was conservative and tea party then Walker should help. Since he is not, Walker owes him nothing!

I speak out of complete ignorance, but what did Romney do to help Scott Walker when he was in serious trouble?

Excellent quesiton, thanks for posting this...everyone in WI and all the other close states need to reach out to their state and local elected officials. Now that there is momentum all those elected republicans who blow with the wind should be willing to stand up and give support, but they need encouragement. Walker is chief amongst them...

The best thing that Walker can do for Romney is to NOT be seen with him too much. Walker survived recall, but he is still radioactive to large segments. Their supporters do NOT overlap completely. Romney should thank Walker for his support during the primary, and leave it at that.

Scott Walker already helped Romney by beating back two recall elections on the legislator and for his office. In fact, the DNC did NOT want the UNIONS to attempt a recall on Walker as they knew it was going to fail and only strengthen the LOCAL GOP and hurt Obama in the Presidential election. NOT to mention the RATS/UNIONS in Wisconsin are weakened since they spent so much money on the recalls there is little money for Obama. Finally, whatever resources the UNIONS have they are not spending because they felt Obama abandon them in the Governor recall election.

Chime in, Wisconsin, on what Scott Walker is doing to help Romney...

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

Walker has been a pretty regular guest at the rallies around here. He’s appeared with Ryan and with Tommy Thompson a lot, and he’s sent out a jillian fund raising letters for Romney.

I’m getting plenty of Walker emails supporting Romney. Also Walker has to give attention to supporting Tommy Thompson who is in a tougher race than it should be.
