The left often gets confused with Full-auto and automatic and machine gun.
Then consider me confused too because I'm not aware there is a difference between the threee......So what is the difference?

An automatic usually only fires one round per trigger pull. Automatic is sometimes used to describe a Full-Auto. Full Auto and machine gun can fire until they run out of rounds as long as you hold the trigger down. Some Machine guns fire up to three rounds per trigger pull. The left often misuses these terms to to make things sound worse and mislead the public. Assault weapon is another misused term..
