I am beginning to think Mr Obama’s performance was an act.
I am not sure what the next act will be but he either wants to lose or figures he can’t lose.

In short, we just saw Edward Klein's book The Amateur come to life. And what the Democrats saw petrified them to no end.

I think we saw the Paul Ryan Effect on Mitt. It sounded to me as if Paul Ryan had been coaching Mitt.
I can’t wait till next week when Joe Meets Paul.

Romney is not ‘my guy’; I’ll be holding my nose as I vote for him. But after last night, I’ll be holding it a little more loosely. If nothing else, I was ecstatic to see a Republican actually fight back. Romney had some great zingers (my personal fave was when he said he had 5 boys, he’s used to people repeating the same thing over and over and trying to convince him that it’s true). When I compare it to the simpering of McCain during the last go-round — the difference is astonishing. I just wish he was an actual conservative.

And he did himself a universe of good. In the first flash poll, done by CBS, he was not only judged the winner by a margin of 56-32, but even more striking, the number of those who said they thought Romney cared about them doubled, from 30 percent to 60 percent. Last night, Romney utterly destroyed the message and effect from the hundreds of millions of dollars that Bozo has spent up till now on ads.

Six months ago I postulated that if the real Obama was ever REVEALED to the American people this narcissist might just collapse. I even suggested a possibility of a suicide attempt. Sounds like last night may just push this arrogant little prick over the edge.

Not entirely surprising. In terms of raw intelligence, Obama is way sharper than McCain. However, there’s no way Obama is smarter than Romney. This kind of fast-twitch smarts is what counts in a debate. Like it or not, Romney is nouveau riche, and that means he earned every penny of what he made, rather than inheriting it the old-fashioned way.

The debate is a nice example of what happens when an academic compares notes to a business man.
We saw theory and lecturing vs. real-world and experience. Remember, the only other experience Great Leader has is in Community Organizing and very soft types of social science activities. The money which funds Community Organizing comes from some mystery place the organizers do not understand nor care to consider. Results and success from Community Organizing amount to having the activity in the paper with little to no follow-up to see what's happening six months later. This is a great way to define the last three and a half years. Lots of photo-ops, lots of starts and talk and lectures -- but no real follow-through afterwards.
Business, on the other hand, has to earn its money and it has to keep moving forward with tangible results. In business, the other option is failure. In Community Organizing, the next step is a new project with more grant money from, again, that mystery place.
This was also a geat debate because everyone was allowed to see both candidates without the filtering support of the MSM.

The liberals are crying over their lost sense of self-worth. They thought they were the smartest people in the room for supporting the smartest President ever. They lost that illusion.
