Major Hasan—Electric Chair —cremation with bacon—ashes dumped in latrine. No rights—no dignity—no grave that can be a place for mussies to honor his acts.
I will never forget that “shout out” as long as I live. I teach in an elementary school a few miles from Ft. Hood. We went into lockdown mode that day because, in all of the mass confusion, there were rumors that there were other shooters who had fled post and were headed west toward my community. Waiting for Obama’s statement later that day...I just wanted some answers. We were stunned and heartbroken, looking for some small bit of comfort from a president we didn’t even like. I was even more stunned to see Obama’s press conference begin. It was like a clip of some other event was playing by mistake. Or like he didn’t know the cameras were rolling or something. But no, it was just that disgraceful a press conference. A freaking shout out when a dozen of my community members were just murdered? Are you kidding me? Talk about adding insult to injury. I’ve rarely loathed Zero more.
