What the heck is an “Obama phone”?
It was a phrase that this woman seemed to think would be intelligible to everyone, so it must be a term that they use in her ‘hood. She didn’t even answer the question when the interviewer tried to ask her about the “Obama phone.”
Has Obama really given out phones (presumably with pre-paid service) in these neighborhoods?

An “Obama Phone” is a free “burner” phone. His drug dealer supporters use them and toss them in the river when the heat gets too close.
