No, he didn't. The Dems were quite respectful. Lots of African American folks praying right along with him. I don't see how the Cardinal could've turned down an invitation to pray, especially among folks who need Jesus so badly, but I do fear the wrong message is being sent to Catholic union workers that it's ok to vote for Obama.
