Outside of the Orthodox Jewish community, there is no more Zionist faction of our citizenry than Evangelical Christians.
There are many Orthodox who are anything but Zionist...they think time is not here yet and a host of other reasons
Which is why so many use the IDF waiver granted them...
Folks here think orthodox Jews are just conservative Christians with yarmulkes with same values and morality
Not really
When i was in Israel a lot 20 years ago there was a lot of resentment towards them from native non orthodox
And there are other differences....some have conservative political views but not all and some have views that many here would rile over
