Obama’s Popularity Dips Underwater; For Romney, a Faint Favorability Bounce
ABC News ^ | Sept. 4, 2012 | Gary Langer

Barack Obama approaches his nomination for a second term with the lowest pre-convention personal popularity of an incumbent president in ABC News/Washington Post polls since the 1980s. He’s also at his lowest of the year among registered voters, with trouble among women.

Just 47 percent of registered voters in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll see Obama favorably overall, down 7 percentage points from his recent peak in April, while 49 percent rate him unfavorably. He’s numerically underwater in this group for the first time since February.

I don’t know what kind of house Bill Clinton has right now but I can’t imagine that he is happy that Obama is moving into this one

Obama’s Presidential library is going to be filled with what?????????????????? I can’t wait to see what a joke it is.

They are going to either make sure he gets a bounce or a bigger bounce by bringing his numbers low now. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

Women care most about the future of their children. Obama hasn't done a single thing to enhance that future, but has done much to diminish it.

Obama cannot win an honest election in 2012.

I’ve seen threads about this. The Obamas have plans to move there in 4 months based on the 2012 elections. The info comes from Hillbuz, and is based on someone who knows Michelle’s mother. Uh huh.

I’ll believe it when I see it. To have something leaked like this before the DNC convention, let alone the election, is a death knell for the DNC and the administration. If true, and I think it’s a big IF, it determines the election. I just don’t put faith in it. Yet...

There is a factor I believe partly in play here.

I have seen too many women - even middle age and old, go gaga for whoever they perceive as the best looking - not bothering to weigh any other factors.

So, last election, we had O’bumbles and - ah - McCain.

This time, we have O’Bumbles skinny little ar*se and Biden against two strikingly handsome, well built men - one younger than O’bummer and with great blue eyes.

I have a couple lady friends - both grandmothers! - that still gush over bubba - and now O’bumbles. Make me want to puke.

But it is a factor - a real one. This time, looks like it's in OUR favor. (Unless O’bummer finally is able to stop the rising seas and heal the earth.)

As I said, I’ll believe it when I see it. However, if Pritzker is working on behalf of Hyatt, that (to me) adds interest to it. Hyatt is a Mormon based family as I’ve been led to believe I spent 4 years in Utah (no, I’m not...).

Obama has an apathy problem with the black voters. They came out in 2008. Many don’t care in 2012. This from the mouths of some of the black Americans a friend of mine heard at a flea market in a black region of his town.

O have a son who is a long-hauler. He hears more than apathy all over the country with blacks. They now despise him. They may not vote for R&R - but I'm thinking large numbers of them that voted last time - will stay home.

Obama can still hope for Virgil Goode and Gary Johnson to siphon off votes from Romney is some of the swing states--which will only matter if the election is close.

How much damage can Eric Holder do on election day? Can he send agents to polling places in the big cities in critical states to facilitate voter fraud? That is, make sure people can vote without IDs? Or would his power be limited to the states put under federal oversight by the Voting Rights Act?

With all the material to work with, imagine where his popularity would be if the hypocritical and shameful press and media had gone after him as mercilessly as they did George W. Bush?

His ratings are plummeting in-spite of their attempts to shore him up. They might as well pile on now so they can feel like they accomplished something.

Today is the first day of the Dems’ convention, and in my general deep-blue neighborhood today, I saw only two BO t-shirts and one other person wearing a BO 2012 button. That’s it. That’s all.

And almost no cars with BO bumper stickers anymore.

Pritzker family was Jewish-American

Penny got off on the Superior Bank mess. The FDIC got screwed.

Two of the family settled for 1/2 billions dollars over claims they got screwed over by the trusts.

I don’t think this election is going to go anywhere near the predictions. But that’s just my gut feeling. Nothing to base it on beside talk, chatter, and a little substance. Yet I feel it. But I’m not going to take left-field stuff like this without some real, strong, attribution.

I wasn’t talking about Pritzker. I was referring to Hyatt. If she has interest in Hyatt, even a lesser interest, there still could be that influence...

I really don’t know what you are talking about ..Pritzkers ARE Hyatt.

The NAME started out with a small motel in LA-Hyatt House

Hyatt von Dehn and Crouch owned it.

But THE chain started with Pritzker

Pritzkers amassed a multi BILLION dollar fortune.
