President Obama will visit Louisiana after all.
Obama campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki told POLITICO earlier Friday that the president had no plans yet to visit the Gulf state and review damage from Hurrican Isaac, even though Mitt Romney announced plans to visit Friday.
But the White House announced a few hours later that he is now planning to go there.

Outstanding!
LOL...forced to visit a solid red, right-to-work state on Labor Day. I’ll bet he’s pissed.
Keep the meme going. Let Obama be defined by an empty chair.
Great job, Obamadork.
Now, the unfortunate Louisiana residents can see a t*rd above the water to match those floating in the water.
Romney is leading the little boy around like a lost child. Romney should take that time to go to Ohio, and kick over Obama’s camp.
Someone bribed him with some ice cream and Moochelle heard there was a disaster sale on boob belts.
Maybe someone told him that’s what Presidents do!
Oh wow the 0 campaign is going from bad to worse. Now they look both incompetent and desperate!
Excellent idea. Someone knows how to get this going on Facebook. Excellent post for “I will not vote for Obama in 2012.” I don’t know how to do that but I’m sure other Freepers do.
Obama is waiting for the golf courses to dry off.
Looking like his usual small self, the -resident vainly runs behind the departing Romney bus, shouting “Me too! Me too!”
I hope someone gets a picture of Jindal and Romney together. That would be epic. No matter what you think of Romney, there’s no doubt he’s a leader...and this is a perfect example.
I have a better one I am creating.

Sen. Vitter, Gov. Romney and Gov. Jindal to Assess Flooding in Lafitte
(Metairie, La.) U.S. Senator David Vitter will join Governors Mitt Romney and Bobby Jindal today on a visit to Lafitte to meet with local officials and first responders and to assess flooding damages. There will be press availability at the end of the tour.
They will depart from the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at 1:15 pm. The group will have a press availability when they return.
Yesterday Vitter requested immediate attention to the dam at Lake Tangipahoa near McComb, Mississippi which could have caused very severe flooding throughout Tangipahoa Parish.
"I meant to do that."
Wow, I am truly beginning to believe the Obama campaign is imploding. It’s kind of scary considering we have 2 months left before the election.
