The problem with our inchoate president is not his policies. Throughout history, pseudo-centrist socialists, peddling feel-good, free-lunch crap, while millions of minions worship their messiah's brilliance...have often sought to dominate the discussion.

Yet this man seriously seems to believe he is a king, free to pick and choose the laws and statutes he will obey or enforce, duly empowered to impel or forbid action by executive decree, without legislative approval.

America is a republic. We elect representatives to do our bidding, to govern with the consent of the governed. We have a Constitution, which sets plainly the rules by which the branches of government interact and act on issues of importance, as well as the anomalies of the day.

Barack Obama may be the executive -- in a federal system comprising three equal branches of government: Executive, Legislative, and Judicial -- but he is not an emperor. He cannot make law. Or at least, he is not empowered by the Constitution to do so.

Despite having once taught constitutional law, Obama seems not to understand this. Or perhaps he doesn't care, having fallen victim to a common problem often seen in athletes but also prevalent among those in power. They become convinced that they are bigger than the game -- that it's all about them. Hubris, solipsism, whatever it can be called -- the result is the same: a big man aspiring to big things.

Isaac Asimov, that brilliant SciFi writer, dreamed up the possibility of someone like Obama in his best work, the Foundation Series. He as called The Mule and he was an aberration that had tremendous power and caused tremendous pain until he was stopped.

It is time to diss The Mule.

There is a difference in 'teaching' [taught] and 'instructing'. Obama cannot prove, nor can anyone else prove that he knows anything about the US Constitution - certainly not by his non-existent college records, except that he wants to make it more "redistributive" - his own words during a pre-tyranny obscure interview.

Obama never was a 'professor' qualified to 'teach' anything. Functionaries in the law school he worked part-time at were TOLD to hire him and give him some classes to 'instruct' - just like the hospital administrators at the University Hospital where Michelle Obama got her $300K/year job encouraging welfare patients to go elsewhere.

One can 'instruct' anything. It does not make one an expert, which is certainly the case with Hussein Obama.

For four long years Obama’s adoring media has tried to protect the Empty Suit from criticism. At last, the RNC successfully exposed him in a public forum for his monumental failures and arrogance. It was great to see him dissed. The media wouldn’t do it so the American people finally did.

It was also great to see someone who has relentlessly bashed G. W. Bush get a taste of his own medicine.

The problem with our inchoate president is not his policies.

Actually, that is exactly the problem with hussein. hussein's policies are Marxist/socialist with a fair sprinkling of fascism in there. The 20th century showed us - through trillions of dollars wasted on conflicts and tens of millions of dead - that socialism just does not work, period. Socialism, in any and all of its forms, has a 100% failure rate at making happy prosperous societies. Not only has it failed miserably and expensively (in resources and lives) it will always fail, and in fact cannot ever work. It belongs in that class of ideas that "looked good on paper" or "sounds good" - but that just do not work out in the real world.

That is the fundamental, irrefutable, and unchangeable problem with hussein. The fact that he and his cohorts in crime pick and choose which laws they will enforce, or not is just a reflection-of and symptom-of his socialist agenda. hussein is trying things that have been proven - over and over again - not to work. The only reason he continues to try is that these kinds of ideas concentrate power and control for him and his minions.
