“Who’s Smarter: Joe Biden or Yogi Berra?”: obvious trick question!

I think a more appropriate question would be: “Who’s smarter - Joe Biden or a rutebaga.

Yogi Berra could catch a fast ball thrown by a Major League pitcher 98.9% of the time and could hit a ball thrown by a major league pitcher 28.5% of the time. Joe Biden can’t even remember what state he’s in.

I would have gone with boo-boo, but Yogi hands down.

Yogi Berra said all that stuff intentionally. Its his schtick. He’s clever, and has a unique way of rephrasing the ordinary, redundant, etc. to make it sound profound. Berra is very bright ... catcher is the most complicated position on the field.

Joe Biden is just an idiot.

Yogi is certainly a lot funnier.

Yogi is THE philosopher of our time. There are three pages of Yogi-isms here ...

My personal fave is: “If you come to a fork in the road, take it.”

Joe Gaffer Biden is an embarrassment.

When Biden plays in half as many World Series games as Yogi, we’ll talk.

we’re handling this badly... when given a soft pitch, you knock it otu of the park...

the response should be” This is a hoot! the party of Jim Crow, Bull Connor, segregation and the KKK (remember jesse helms), not to mention all the damage welfare has done to blacks, has some nerve accusing the party of Lincoln of wanting to enchain blacks.”

Hey, Joe has always been the soul of decorum and probity.

Yogi, and I don’t say that as a partisan. Berra was very, very successful at what he did. His verbal “gaffes” were just malapropisms. In Biden’s case, the gaffes reveal a feeble mind. Big difference.

What? Yogi Berra, one of America's greatest philosophers? The question unasks itself, but then it would, wouldn't it?

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Tell it, Yogi!
