Heres what Reince Priebus told Sean Hannity:
I really think this president has a problem with the American dream. And, you know, I dont think parents out there, Democrats and Republicans alike, are looking for the glass half empty America that Barack Obama wants to sell this country. Thats not what we are. So were going to be aggressive. So my view is if they want to punch us were going to punch them back with brass knuckles and thats what we have to do At the end of the day, the only things that are shovel ready around here are the words coming out of Barack Obama and Joe Bidens mouth.

Not I!
Words are cheap: Let's see some action first and then we can decide whether or not the Establishment RINO's deserve our support.
Color me skeptical!
A little "Rolling Thunder" and some "Carpet Bombing!"
Thanks smoothsailing.
I hate the moderator choices, but you know what? Newt showed how Repubs can ju-jitsu that ant evoke both distrust of everything the media says and at the same time refocus the debate on your issues.
so glad we're post racial as well as post American these days...
seems both sides are enjoying playin with the violence card...too bad both are too stupid to realize that threats are empty...and actions have consequences...
The guess here is that Priebus was motivated to pump up the rhetoric a notch or two by the Obama campaign's ad about the steel worker's wife who died from cancer. Even "nice guys" can get worked up enough to say things out of character.
Seems as if the GOP may have learned a lesson or two from the passive McCain campaign four years ago.
Yes, indeed, which is precisely one reason I like Darrell Issa. He takes action.
I share your concerns regarding Paul Ryan, and the RR team must first win the election, just like you addressed.
Right. Who cares what they say. Tough talk is just that. I would prefer silence and real action. This is a gimmick from a wimp. Results, Reince, are all that matter.
Thanks for posting.
Agree! It is great to see the GOP getting tough! Let the Marxists be tough with their lies, while the Republicans are tough right back with the truth!
They don’t get it yet. They just happen to be right this time.
Refreshing candor
The real problem in the House is the rule that lets the incumbents select the leader in the lame duck session following the election, thus short circuiting the voice of the electorate and hanging on to their power.
Remember the flush of victory after the 2010 elections followed by the let down of having Weeping John elected Speaker.
The GOP-e has got to go, and Weeping John HAS to be the sacrificial goat. If a conservative can’t beat him in the primary, we have to bite the bullet and vote dem in that race. We can afford to lose one house seat but we can’t afford to let the GOP-e hold the reins of power.
He needs to be gutted, skinned, roasted, and served up as an example to the rest of GOP-e.
We Will clear the decks of these treasonous bastards but it has to start now. The House Committee Chair positions in a two year cycle have to taken away from them.
The top of the GOP ticket is set. Don’t like it but it’s done. The efforts have to be directed to holding the House while clearin as much deadwood as safely possible, and striving for gains in the Senate.
But Boehner MUST GO!
I sure hope so. It’s all these dems and various ingrates understand.
Wow. That graphic to me shows a new “Iron Brigade”, 150 years later.
On, Wisconsin!
Remember, this was the same guy that called Harry Reid a “dirty liar.” Not just a liar, but a “DIRTY” liar! And when George Stephanopolis tried to get him to take it back, he refused to do so!
Finally, a pubbie spokesman who’s got a pair.
