They could climb up onto my roof and carve it into an actual slate, and likely just as many people would read it.

I keep telling libs, “Yes, by all means, let’s stay out of each other’s personal business. So stop forcing people to support other people’s personal choices with their labor.”

It is legally impossible to mind my own business, when I am required to financially support your personal choices.

It turns out that they don’t want people to stay out of their lives that much.

I don’t think conservatives resemble “The Crouches” so much as these mad dog homosexual “activists” resemble Ernst Rolm and his SA...figuratively and literally.

In his world, Focus on the Family is a hate group.

Like all the others attacking CFA, he accuses them of hate and proceeds to vent his spleen with a couple thousand words of contemptuous vitriol aimed at, well, normal people.

Put this in your bong and smoke it, Tinkerbell: Dan Cathy has an opinion on homo marriage. It happens to be an opinion shared by the vast majority of Americans, which is neither here nor there. The fact is, he is entitled to his opinion, regardless of whether it gets your tutu in a wad or not. I happen to agree with Mr Cathy’s opinion. So do millions of other people. And if you prancing poofs think you’re going to intimidate us into silence, think again.

Don’t you have skin flute practice, nancy-boy?

What a poorly written article. I like how he manages to insert his books into the story.

He's a homosexual? What a surprise:

For them, every single body on proud display at the “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day,” not to mention those leaning out of their car windows to scream “***!” and “****!” at gay couples milling about or kissing, was a tangible reminder of just how much they really do have to fear in this country. (Meanwhile, we’re trying to convince them that “It Gets Better.”) So know this: From the unspoken perspective of all the petrified, closeted 15-year-olds out there (I used to be one myself, after all), it makes absolutely no difference, none whatsoever, what your motives are in rallying behind Chick-fil-A. All they see is your raw hate.

His whole article is so smug and self righteous I have to laugh since it is so badly written and reasoned. I remember the days gone by when you actually had to have talent to make it as a writer.

I notice that there aren't any actual examples or phone cam videos of people leaning out their windows shouting anything.

And look at how he closes the piece:

“Let Aug. 1, 2012, go down as a day of infamy and national disgrace.

On that day, at-risk gay youth all over this country watched as an endless, self-righteous trail of Americans wrapped itself round and round Chick-fil-A franchises across the land.

And in this rare agglutination of the moral majority, they glimpsed the living, breathing presence of a brutal force whose sole aim it is to bully them into one of three equally disastrous directions: that of sham heterosexual marriage (and the deception of an opposite-sex spouse); the repressed life of a hypocritical moralizer, or that of virginal, social reclusion. “

For several tense weeks, our nation has been broiling unpleasantly in the cultural equivalent of polyunsaturated fat.

I listened to an interview with Dan Cathy over the weekend, he mentioned that all Chick-Fil-A chicken is cooked in 100% pure peanut oil.

From the Peanut Institute on Peanut Oil:

Health Benefits
Peanut oil is one of the healthiest oils. It is a vegetable oil that is naturally trans fat-free, cholesterol free, and low in saturated fats. Peanut oil is high in unsaturated fats, especially monounsaturated fat, like olive oil. It is also a source of the antioxidant, vitamin E and phytosterols, which benefit heart-health. Peanut oil is also a perfect choice for healthier frying because it can be heated to a higher temperature than other oils, and this results in lower oil pick up in the food.

Peanut Oil Nutrition Studies
The health benefits of peanut oil on blood lipids and heart health were looked at in a controlled human study conducted at Penn State University, which assigned subjects to one of four diets:

  1. Moderate fat – 1/2 fat from peanut oil (PO),
  2. Moderate fat – 1/2 fat from olive oil (OO),
  3. Moderate fat – 1/2 fat from peanuts and peanut butter (PPB)
  4. Low-fat Step II diet (American Heart Association/National Cholesterol Education Program),
  5. Average American diet (AAD).

The PO and PPB diets significantly improved total and “bad” LDL cholesterol levels similar to olive oil when compared to an AAD. Cardiovascular disease risk was also significantly reduced by the PO and PPB diets similar to the OO diet.

In another human study, weight loss was measured in those on a moderate fat diet versus a low-fat diet. Peanut oil was substituted for half of the fat in the moderate fat diet. Subjects on the diet including peanut oil lost weight and also had improved cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Additional emerging data is showing the benefits of healthy fats in regards to type 2 diabetes. Data shows that insulin sensitivity can be improved when saturated fat is replaced with unsaturated fats, like those found in peanut oil.br

It’s like they want a war even after they lost the first time. Let them rant, wail and whine more.

You know this isn’t polling well when Obama doesn’t jump on this train.

Since Slate offends me I demand they be shut down.

Slate should not be allowed to promote their hatred of straight, white, working people.

Slate is a group of racists, heterophobes, first amendment (both freedom of religion and speech) haters.

No ISP should be allowed to carry any of their traffic.

Seems “FAIR” right? Have I successfully mirrored their position?

“Fortunately for African-Americans, the U.S. government, which grows sluggishly, if incrementally, in its social conscience, eventually joined them and threw its weight into their tireless crusade against bigotry and prejudice.”

This madcap homosexual goes from “mildly amused” to` panties in a bunch’ in a hurry.
