(Meanwhile, we’re trying to convince them that “It Gets Better.”) So know this: From the unspoken perspective of all the petrified, closeted 15-year-olds out there (I used to be one myself, after all), it makes absolutely no difference, none whatsoever, what your motives are in rallying behind Chick-fil-A. All they see is your raw hate.
His whole article is so smug and self righteous I have to laugh since it is so badly written and reasoned. I remember the days gone by when you actually had to have talent to make it as a writer.
I notice that there aren't any actual examples or phone cam videos of people leaning out their windows shouting anything.
I was arguing with an idiot the other day who said, “why can’t people just live and let live? Target and General Mills support gay marriage so conservatives boycott them and the gay marriage proponents do the same to Chik-fil-a.”
I agree with ‘live and let live, but explained the difference between the left and right is you don’t see any mayors on the right trying to prevent Target or General Mills,etc from being in “their” city via force of government.
One side seems fond of tyranny. See who’s “tolerant” ? All I see is leftist hate. If you disagree-you’re “hateful”. Donate money to a group that disagrees with them and you’ll be targeted like some Prop. 8 proponents were in CA.
