Cruz is extremely conservative.

He isn’t shy about standing for what he believes on issues, regardless of where others stand or how important they might be.

However, Cruz will NOT be an “I’d rather have Obama win than Romney” so we can teach the GOP-E a lesson for structuring elections to split conservatives. He will NOT say that all the conservative candidates except for Palin ran so they could help Romney win by splitting the vote, ie, conspiracy in the ranks by Santorum, Gingrich, Perry, et al.

Cruz is smart, has a young family to protect from Obama-Reid-Pelosi, and is a can-do, go-getter, NOT a moaning, cry-in-his-beer, down-in-the-mouth, eternally depressed “conservative”.

This all might come as a shock to those who happily backed Cruz while hoping Obama beats Romney.

I have not heard any of these comments here in Denver. What I’m hearing is Cruz falls in with our Jindal-Rubio-Ryan wing of the party.

I’m looking forward to see him and how he does with the MSM on a Sunday morning. Hopefully, he will do great.

Cruz is very articulate and unabashed. Love it!

I watched the Cruz I know and he was just that...he obsesses on getting Obama & Co OUT.

If you watched, you heard what he said about the Tea Party and about Romney.

I predicted it, because I realize he MIRRORS the state of Texas. This is how they will vote, not because they want Romney but because of Obama and they do not agree the answer is to stay home, vote third party etc.

I voted for Cruz.

I haven’t and don’t plan to vote for Romney, and have announced that many times.

But that’s because I don’t want Romney but my state will vote against Obama and I don’t have to worry about it. I know my state. When Texas votes for a Yankee Mormon rather than Obama, you KNOW what is driving them, and instead of insulting them and calling them libs, just relax if you’re me, they’ve got my back.

That is also Ted Cruz.

Moaning and groaning and “oh, he betrayed the Tea Party” talk, notwithstanding”.
