GLADD to look like a bully at Chick-fil-A 'Same Sex Kiss Day', not a victim
Examiner ^ | Aug 2 2012 | Radell Smith

Today, gay rights supporters from across the nation are contemplating whether the crowd they draw to Chick-fil-A restaurants for their planned ‘kiss in’ this Friday will be anything like that drawn for the ‘Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day’ yesterday.

Yet based upon some recent comments made by those who claim zero religious affiliation, no past Chick-fil-A patronage, and absolutely no animosity towards the gay community, it doesn’t look good for them.

The planned gay protest, orchestrated after the Chick-fil-A company’s President Dan Cathy affirmed his support for traditional marriage, seeks to undermine the restaurant chains freedom of religious liberty in the marketplace.

Homosexual activists hope that by visiting the...restaurants across the country—and kissing their partners in front of... patrons...—that it will somehow motivate the general public to rally for marriage equality on their behalf.

Instead, it is likely to do just the opposite, as proven by comments in today’s LA Times article titled “Gay-rights group plans kissing protest at Chick-fil-A.”

...

[A] guest during the chicken chain's appreciation day thinks Dan Cathy is getting “a bad rap” for his support of traditional marriage...

That's definitely not the results hoped for by GLADD when they sought to bring negative attention to the Chick-fil-A franchise president's comments supporting biblical views...

Gay groups opposing Chick-fil-A’s stand...had hoped to rally more support for marriage equality... Instead...they drew greater support for men like Cathy who feel they should be able to express their own beliefs in the marketplace too.

The GLADD “National Same Sex Kiss Day at Chick-fil-A” protest scheduled for this Friday, therefore, may not have the desired outcome being sought. And, in fact, the gay rights group may find that the country isn't ready to rally for marriage equality when it is clothed in bully tactics directed at others exercising their freedom of speech too.

Somehow, it just doesn't come across as heroic or meaningful in the least:

If their goal is to get patrons to toss their chicken sandwiches I’d say its a pretty effective tactic.

I’ve heard rumors that law enforcement is a ready to pounce on these deviants if they insist on disturbing the peace, initiating hate crimes, and harassing patrons at any of the CFA restaurants. Good!

When you’re “gay” the world is your bedroom.

The “news” media are very good at spinning the news their way and not reporting what they don’t like. Watch them hype the homo kiss-in and make it look like it’s the only thing that happened at CFA this week.

I hope that’s true. We need them to over-reach one more time (*fingers crossed*) - if we give them enough rope they just may hang themselves.

C'mon GIBLETS©®™!

Hey, Chick-Fil-A®: Have some fun with those lowlifes. Put some EXTRA-SERIOUS Ex-Lax® Sauce on their food! Invite the media dirtbags to film it.

If the protesters obey the law — if they do not obstruct customers’ access to / from the restaurant, particularly (for my fear is that the protesters will go inside, sit down, and not buy anything and/or just stay seated for hours and hours) — then, hey, that’s America. Protest away!

If they break the law, though, call the cops and book ‘em.

As to the gratuitous PDA, I’m quite sure that CFA and most any other restaurant would toss even a paying customer for vigorous, extended make-out sessions on site.

Where are the hungry lawyers willing to file a class action suit for Sexual Harassment?

Forcing others to participate in their homosexual sexual practices is exhibitionism and harassment.

I’m crying and upset and afraid to eat in public places because of it!

Like all of these astroturf leftist “demonstrations,” this will be an epic fail.

Whatever cause they’re into, the left can never resist taking it a step too far.

Looks like I wont be bringing the grandchildren out on Friday.
There were two guys fondling each other in the park this spring and my grandson asked what they were doing.
I explained to him there are people out there who are exhibitionists and do those things to get attention from people who walk by. I also said that the attention they are hoping for is not the kind of attention a person strives for.
I said would it be good for you to do something bad to get attention, or do something good to get attention like robbing a bank or working at the soup kitchen. He chose the soup kitchen.
He said they should be ashamed of themselves.

Someone should start a similar meme, where people dress up and act gay for the camera, in front of a CFA, crying hysterically, like a p*ssy.

Ha, they wouldn’t have the nerve, nor the courage to try this in a mosque for 2 seconds. They know where they’re safe.

Well, of course, what they want is to get kicked out. That way they can cry "discrimination!" You can bet they've already got places & times all worked out for the media that will just "happen" to be there.
