The request gave the potential suppliers only one day to submit their proposals and a 15-day delivery requirement to Alexandria, Virginia.

By law the government is supposed to publish an offer, collect bids, and elect a winner. But they aren't even pretending to play by the book anymore. Obviously the one-day submission period works only if someone in the industry knows about the order beforehand, has papers ready for submission, and has the gear in stock (otherwise 15-day performance period is impossible.) This offer is aimed at a specific company, and the publication is just a formality.

Do not overlook the millions of bullets the DHS has ordered in the coming months. THAT is the sign that we must prepare for government violence against the American people.
