"I've never understood why there is so much Cheney love at FR."
Cause he doesn't put up with democrat lying BS and he called Patrick Leahy an asshole on the floor of the Senate- that is worth a vote

McCain lost it, when he suspended his campaign to fly back to Washington during TARP and did.....nothing.

Oh, yeah.... Gore/Lieberman would have been just wonderful.Uhhh, I doubt the GOP would have nominated Gore/Lieberman either in 2000 or 2004.

I agree, it would always be best to have Sarah on top!

Cheney must have been given a libtard’s heart during the transplant...he messed up ‘bigtime’ in my book in his criticism of Sarah

Obama also did nothing, but he looked smart doing it. ;-)

“Hes a gay marriage, open borders, NWO Bushie. Pure GOPe.”
Pretty much sums it up. Better than many of them, but still in that camp. It doesn’t much matter to me, as I am done with the Menshevik, lesser comrade party.

He is doing nothing but parroting the Bush line. My guess right now is that the next Republican VP candidate is the junior senator from Florida. I say this because said senator slammed the Representative from Minnesota and his fellow committee members for speaking the plain truth.

“Frankly, I hated it when a couple of the inductees who came in when I did just flopped over dead out running around the track in the morning before breakfast. That sort of thing is just a big downer.
No, I didn’t trip over their bodies ~ but others did.”
Had a guy do that in front of me (fortunately just heat prostration). I just sprung off his back and kept going.

Just knowing about these guys dropping was bad enough ~ I hope you didn’t suffer any injury when he got in your way.

“Methinks Dick got a lefty heart transplant.”
Cheney has a heart and a brain and he’s using them both.
To: muawiyah
He was fine and really there was no choice. Just dropped right in front of me. I could either fall over him or just spring off of him - I was not going to avoid him on that narrow trail. He just needed to get rehydrated, and then he was fine.

AuntB, I don’t support everything Cheney does. When he says something I agree with, I voice approval. When he says something I don’t agree with, I voice disapproval.
Hardly any of these people are truly with us on most aspects of politics. For that reason I try to hit the positives and negatives in order help support and thwart good/bad policy.
I don’t disagree with your premise. We are being used.

Well, it appears the RINO’s are rising in the crowd (so we can recognize them and repudiate them.) Thanks, Sara, for facilitating this crucial identification.

Another reason why Nov. 6th will be my last GOP vote. On November 7th we lay the groundwork for 2014 and 2016 with a new conservative party.
People have already been laying that groundwork. There's no reason to start anew. We continue the building process NOW by voting for Virgil Goode this November.
If you keep voting GOP they'll keep giving you McCains and Romneys.
To: RobinMasters
The more I think about this, the more I get pissed. Dick I was one of your biggest supporters but having to choose I’m on Sarah’s team and you are not the man I thought you were. Good bye.

Had McCain picked a southern governor of some sort who had faced off the media and had some experience...it might have swung 500k votes over toward McCain. I personally think some insider to the McCain inner circle pushed Palin as someone likely to stumble the campaign. I would also make this comment...had Palin simply gone on being Alaska governor for a full eight years, and eventually challenged Senator Lisa...it would have been a better path in the long run and given her more time to mature. Accepting the VP option...was the wrong choice. You're completely wrong. Until they announced Palin, I was washing my hair on election day 2008.
I know lots of people that felt the same way, and you see quite a number here on this thread, too.
